Character Creation

Characters start at level 1.
Distribute these for starting ability scores: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8.
We will be using color alignment instead of the traditional system.
Available races are those detailed in the Ixalan guide, but exceptions might be available.

Looks like we're leaning toward Sun Empire at the moment as the dominant faction. This could lead to some interesting political issues if we maintain a large minority from the Legion of Dusk. I haven't heard from a couple of players, so we'll see how things shake out in the next couple of days.

Would my character idea work as is or do you think I need to change anything?

Is a Lizardfolk good? What would be a good Background (???) for swamp loving Lizardfolk Druid.

Not without a good reason for a Lizardfolk to be in Ixalan. Look through the Planeshift Guide for good background recommendations.

Sounds Red to me, but you could persuade me to Blue-Red.

Hello everyone. I recognize some of you. I was really pulled in by the line in the guide where it says that the paladins of the sun empire ride dinosaurs, so that's my character concept right there. I was originally going to make him straight white, but as I think about it more, I really like the dino aspect so I'm going to go white-green. More detailed story to come.

P.S. Ultimate character goal is to ride a t-rex into battle

Change Vampire or Merfolk to Itzocan, since you're from the Sun Empire.

Do your equipment and weapons, your character will be able to retrieve their gear.
