Old and the new

Greetings all,

As an old timer RPer, I grew up in the days of AD&D, Palladium Rifts and WHFB. Now I'm looking to get back into it and lo, here I am.

Relatively up to date with Pathfinder (and Starfinder), so would love to get involved with a game like that, but I'm extremely partial to World of Darkness (particularly Mage: The Awakening) and MechWarrior (3rd edition), but I'm happy to learn new systems with patient GMs. I'd love to play, as it's been many years since I've done that, but I'm not opposed to GMing, if the fancy takes me.

Welcome! We tried a Mage: The Awakening game a few months ago, but unfortunately we bit off more than we could chew by setting it during early Renaissance Russia, so we abandoned it after a few scenes. Still, it's a great system.

GMs are generally super patient and helpful with getting players adapted to new systems. In the few months I've been here, I've learned lots of them, entirely due to the graciousness of the community.
