Starfinder

Hi all,

It was mentioned in my intro post that there's been some interest in Starfinder, so I was thinking of starting up a campaign. Full disclaimer; whilst I have the core rulebook (and the rules are available online), and I have a reasonable familiarity with the Pathfinder rules, I've neither played nor GMed Starfinder.

With that said, if there's enough interest, I'm happy to start a 'work this out as we go along' Starfinder game, either as GM if there's no other takers, or as a player. Just don't expect smooth running or epic plots. At least, not for now.

I'll gladly swing a laserpistol in your game :)

Following. I had thought about adapting Starfinder for a Babylon 5 game I've been wanting to play.

You do know there is a d20 Babylon 5 system out there, right?

Yeah, I've got the d20 material. That's why Starfinder seemed like such a slam dunk, conversion of existing ships etc., would be minor.

I've been looking for a PbP Starfinder game for a while and would love to join yours. Everything I've read about it sounds very interesting. I recently got the core rule book and can get up to speed quickly.

Wow, I need to get my hands on that. Babylon 5 is one of the greatest sci-fi series of all time.

I have been working on a Android, Tecnomage, Bounty hunter

I'm interested in playing a human mercenary mechanic. I've already looked into the character creation and should be able to create the character pretty quickly...

I'm looking at a Vesk, Mercenary, Soldier (str, 2 handed based)

Alright, because this is my first time both GMing and playing this game, I've limited the field to 4 players, so apologies if you didn't get in. However, I like large player groups as a GM (it allows for many sub-plots and 'split up and look for clues!'), so chances are, as my experience and confidence grows, I'll be taking on more players, so don't go anywhere.
