D&D 5e players looking for a game

Hello Everyone!

A friend and I are looking for a 5e game to join as players. I am new to the site (will be my first Play by Post D&D game). I looked on the systems and several games state they are open and have 5/6 players, but appear to have been underway for some time. Is it worth applying to games like this? Or should I look for games that have not started?

That said, I've not been a GM on this site so I am not familiar with what a GM sees when there are applications or open spots.

It's always worth applying or sending a PM to the GM to see if they'll take a slot. Another option is to put a post in the Games Tavern (as you did), and maybe a GM will respond directly!
