Excellent! The only thing I might recommend is travel rations, but that could be sorted in-game. We're only waiting on a couple of characters now, then we can start.

I'd suggest using it, however we'll want to tailor it a little. What background do you have?

Probably Charlatan, though I'm not totally decided yet.

You were going to multiclass as rogue/fighter, yes? Maybe narrowing down a backstory could help with the decision. Do you want to be from Drathis, or another country?

I'm thinking Drathis right now but if there's a place to get more concrete info on cultures or socio-economics of an area that would help. I'm basically looking to play a self-made man sort. A professional thief/gangster/highwayman and a good one.

A good initial concept into areas would be the language file I included initially. They give a brief overview of the origin country of the languages. If you want more info, PM me questions. I'm happy to expand with what you need.

And everything that is typically gold is now silver, is this correct. Just trying to make sure I understand properly.

Also, I know we are buying equipment, but do we get our items from our backgrounds still?

You'll have the items related to your backgrounds, such as thieves tools without needing to buy them. Is there anything specific you're looking to have outside of starting equipment?

Not in particular, I was just curious about the background items. So is gold now silver, as far as purchasing?

Oh, I didn't include the items from my character's background. If allowed, I need to tweak a few things.

Yes. Gold takes more the place of platinum, but at about 10x value. Platinum is so rare it's not a currency, but it's of course very valuable too. Cobalt takes the place of silver, and Iron takes the place of copper, with copper being an in-between from copper and silver.
