Diplomacy: Classic Strategy on a Play by Post?

Hey everyone! It's not an RPG, but would anyone be interested in playing Diplomacy here via PbP? its my favorite board game and I can't really find time to play in person these days.

It'd be pretty easy. Just have the map image and paste the armies and fleets over it. Everyone submits their moves via the "NOTES" tag to the GM, then the GM posts them publicly each season/turn and dictates the outcome with an updated map.

I'd be perfectly willing to GM it. Would anyone be interested?

It's a really simple mechanic with some complex strategy. I'd certainly be willing to teach people who want to learn.

If you're willing to teach, I'd be interested in giving it a go.

A very basic description of the game is that it’s risk with no dice and everyone moves at once.
