Awesome shared backstory, Swordsman & Akh! 

Akh, did you find what you were looking for?

Swordsman, is Akh or anyone else aware your vow to protect the wizard?

Jana, was the oasis where Akh & the Swordsman ended up your tribe's oasis? Or some other oasis that you (and Soro, maybe?) frequent?

Swordman will play an important role in the events to come. I have foreseen it! (That's a vision I had in the dungeon, when he touched the sword of vengeance for the first time.)

___ is keeping an important secret from me. (Looking for volunter, what secret are you keeping from me...)

Soro is woefully misinformed about the world; I will teach them all that I can.
(From Soro: Akh does not understand life in the wild, so I will teach them.) We both think our view of the world is the right one, we'll need to find a middle ground...

I really like that juxtaposition
Since both of us come from communities that have large water sources that plays really well into the tension and truce that they probably have with each other.
Man I hope a druid is a friend to nature ;-P

The spirits spoke to me of a great danger that follows Akh.
(The spirits have sensed something old and dangerous watching Akh, as if waiting for something....)

In the Oasis, Jana performed a healing rite on the Swordsman despite his village elder's misgivings.

I have guided _The Swordsman_ before and they owe me for it. _Jana_ is a friend of nature, so I will be their friend as well.

_Ahk_ does not understand life in the wild, so I will teach them.

Great work, everyone! We're almost ready to begin the adventure proper.

I have started individual threads for each of the PCs. While we will retain this shared Character Creation thread for discussing the characters a a group, I intend the individual threads to serve as a place to talk about character development as the story progresses. In addition to game mechanics progression, we can talk about your personal story arcs there. Where would you like to see your character go? What secrets do they keep? What will they discover and achieve, and how will they change? That sort of thing.

● Soro Samma N'Sei, the Ranger
● Jana Dunestrider, the Druid

We could start as either a small expedition looking for the place of knowledge for the wizard, or we could have been part of a larger caravan that was attacked and we are all that survived.

What about starting in a settlement, looking for a job?
