Hello again. I recognize people here.

Soooo... Is this going to be a pirate game? Because I joined the original game for one reason and one reason only; to ride dinosaurs. Nothing against pirate games (which is what this seems to be, correct me if I'm wrong), but I'm already in a pirate game. I'll stay, but I really don't want to spend all of my time, or even most of my time on the ship.

Alright, I'll keep this in mind. I'll see what I can do to lead up to you riding a dinosaur.

I'm sorry, I think I'm going to have to bow out. I'm just not finding the motivation to post here and that's not fair to you guys. Sorry.

Dinsaurs and the culture of Ixalan are two things that make this setting different from the usual game. That is also what I signed up for. But I understand the ship has to land first before we see any of that. Also, some of the PC's aren't even on the ship! So I'm more than happy to wait.

Alright, I figured the connection between Grim and Veza is that they were from The Legion, and that they wish to escape their association from it. Veza is trying to intergrate with Sun Empire society, while Grim is looking for a cure to undo vampirism.

I was hoping to be already installed in the Empire, having defected some time ago. Maybe they'd pair Veza up with Hurkor to make sure he's not actually a double agent. I imagine if Grim saw Veza (whether or not they know each other from before) he would make contact, hoping to also be granted asylum.

This was what I had in mind, but am also open to RoAries' idea, or if KirinOfDarkness has other thoughts.

It really all depends on whether you are okay with Veza having defected a significant time ago and already established in the Empire or not. If this is okay then he would definitely not be on the ship, and I am perfectly content to wait.

Okay, Veza is officially a part of the Sun Empire. But due to his race, he is not trusted by strangers who are part of the Empire.

That makes perfect sense. That's the problem when you switch allegiances: everyone on either side mistrusts you.

Oh I was counting on BiffRosencrantz / Hurkor Niggletoor being here. Didn't know he'd dropped out.
