The Black Library(Character introduction)

My name is Lord Artemis D'Artigan. Yes, from that D'Artigan family. The family that had our good name and nobility stripped from us after false accusations of impropriety in our business dealings. The rest of my family has accepted our fate, but I vowed to change it. I sought out vampires so I could become one and after I accepted that power, I sought out the Fiend to gain his power as well.

Power is more important than anything and I will do what I must to obtain more.

I hate filth and chaos. Everything around me and in my life must be orderly and free from dirt and distress.

No one tells me what to do. I am my own man, going against even my own families wishes to restore our tainted name.

I am a black-white lawful neutral vampire.

Pirate: I was the ship's cook on Pirate Captain Bide's ship. I spent my youth under the sway of a dread pirate, a ruthless cutthroat who taught me how to survive in a world of sharks and savages. I'm indulged in larceny on the high seas and sent more than one deserving soul to a briny grave. Fear and bloodshed are no strangers to me, and I have garnered a somewhat unsavory reputation in many a port town. Not currently wanted, but she holds rather bad rep. (If not only by association). Also known to get into bar fights.

Chee-hu was the runt of his litter. He is fabled to be the son of a god, but whether or not he is a true demigod, he does possess some interesting natural magics and abilities. He pools from green magic primarily, but his temper can rage red, revealing the destructiveness of nature.

He has always been drawn to the sea, building his own sailboat at a young age, going on voyages on his own skiff and sailing the high seas.

He was caught by the pirate captain, and summarily sent to the brig. So now, he has a new opportunity, being released from custody on this ship.

Aglaophonos grew up on the Sun Coast, raised into a nomadic family that flew the length of the coast looking for ships to torment, most frequently the traders coming and going from Pachatupa. It is a dangerous life to be a siren, and Agla was orphaned at 14 after a ship with more than the usual complement of archers took issue with being led into the deep kelp. Agla continued with the itinerant lifestyle, but became wary of leading ships astray often instead acting as a guide and entertainer in return for food and gold, and an opportunity to gamble with the sailors. She spent time with traders and pirates alike, distinguishing little between them. She made a grave mistake however when approaching the Embargo, which received her not as a guide or entertainer, but as a slave.

Agla is Red Green

Grim was originally a human, and was captured by the Legion of the Dusk to fill their ranks. Soon after being captured he was turned against his will and seeks to cure himself. He spent most of his time researching a cure in secret and even practices as a cleric necromancer to further his research. Though not completely evil or even close to good, grim manipulates both black and white mana to do his bidding.
