Lucian asks, "Sir, how long did we have in system on Hallowed Sword, and how long will we have a Dropship?"

Mykhaal had entered last and took his place without a word. Scanning the room to see who was present, he could see a tech-marine, a librarian and an assult marine. With him, a devastator, it was a well rounded team. Then he spotted the last figure, a man with a feral look in scout armor, and he almost sneered. When the man saw him, a big ugly smile appeared on his face. They knew each other, and Mykhaal wasn't happy to see him, but the man was a good addition to the team....

"It'll take days to reach the destination. How many will depends on the Emperor's will, warp travel is impossible to predict. Once there, a Stormraven Gunship will bring you down to the surface and wait from orbit for when you have accomplished your mission. Pinpointing the exact location of the signal will have to be done on foot. We have little information about the situation of a planet at this late stage of assimilation, so consider yourself behind enemy lines. The frigate Silent Vigil will be holding station in the outer reach of the system until the time of extraction, as there will only be a short window of time for the rendezvous before the Hive Fleet ships reacts."

"This will be a tough mission to undertake. I look forward to it. We will need to equip ourselves appropriately to deal with these filthy beasts." The Rune Priest speaks up. He's no blood angel in the looks department but he has his own.. feral.. qualities. "Will we be able to acquire any ground transportation for this task? It would allow us a better chance of getting in and out." Ragnar would ask.

Since you're speaking of hive Fleet, I assume we will encounter Tyranids, but is there anything else we should expect ?

Bah, come on Mykhaal ! You should know by now that we should always expect the unexpected !

Bannus simply observes and listens, completely expressionless. Save for his eyes, which move to focus on whoever is talking each time, not a single muscle on him seems to activate. There's a somewhat robotic quality to his presence, shrouded in his silence.

"We estimate than ground transportation would attract to much attention given the circonstance. You will be dropped as soon as possible from the signal and will have to pinpoint it on foot.

We do not expect anything other than the tyranid at this stage of their invasion, which is why it is so important to find out how the sender survived. Use that opportunity to gather as much information as you can.

When you are ready, choose a Squad Leader among yourselves and use the remaining time to requisition the necessary equipment"
