Don't we look like the demons right now? Does this mean it hasn;t been fooled by our ruse? If it looks like the demon is fooled, then that will impact how Ben will act.

He tries to knock the other demon off balance, and onto the ground. Into the com Ben says, "If this works, pounce on this thing."

I assume that we were outside Echo, so depending on the design of the car, a quick jump from the say, the hood to the roof would be possible? I'm not sure what the distance is, but I was guessing about 3 metres, maybe 4. (About 10-12 feet). Does this sound fair or am I way off the Mark here?

You're 20 Paces away. Each Pace is 2 meters, so you're roughly 40 meters, or 120+ feet away.

Definitely too far away.

If you stash your card, you could act later in the countdown, perhaps after Chay when they could drive close enough for you to jump?

The demon on the roof slams his arms down emphatically and the ice beside you forms into a creature, like a six legged bear made of ice. To the other side, the ground explodes showering all of you in icy shrapnel.

You all (except Chay and Ana in Echo) take 4 damage, which probably is none since your Toughness is greater than that.
