I added two NPCs (Sildar and Nackle) to my game, edited a post so I could post as Nackle. I only had the option to post as Sildar, so I went back to the game screen and found that Nackle wasn't on it. Removed Sildar, resubmitted Nackle and edited the post (although it still didn't show up in-character).

I have now found that none of my players' characters are on. They all seem to have been withdrawn.

So first, don't fret, I can bring back all the data from yesterday. And in light of that, that's exactly what I'm going to do, and revert to the old code. That's too big a bug to leave up for a bit, and I'm a bit surprised, as that didn't happen during testing.

Thanks Keleth, I can see that the characters are all back, and I was able to edit my post so it came up as being from the character.

I've rolled back to the new code. You shouldn't have this issue again, though now I'm really worried...

I'm afraid it has happened again, but without any of my actions. The players' characters were just ejected. The bright side is it probably wasn't your new code.
Is it just my game this happened with? Could I be doing something wrong?

Nah, no way you're doing something wrong. Can you give me a link to your game? I'm gonna take a look directly, see if there's something up with my code directly, or a weird interaction I didn't expect.

Game

I should mention that two of the players have resubmitted their characters and I accepted them.

Hm... I'm looking at your game, and I see 4 characters on the details page. Do you not see 2 characters under you, 1 under SirRockNRolla and Valcos each? Have you tried force refreshing your page (hold shift and click the refresh button)?

Ok, I got to look into the problem, and what you've said, and looks like I owe you a big apology. I don't know how, but somehow the data from who's in your game got lost. I can say it won't happen from here on out, but I think the characters got submitted during a period where there was a bug, and so when I fixed it, it was lost. I'm gonna do my best to make sure this doesn't happen again. If any of your players have trouble submitting their characters, let me know and I'll take care of it ASAP.

Thanks Keleth, no apology necessary, these things happen. And it wasn't anything more than a slight inconvenience anyway.
