Absolutes compose reality: Space, time, gravity, electromagnetism, the Mole in chemistry.
We have no subjective control over those absolutes, nor reality.
This is perhaps the most potent argument for an intelligent creator.
The fact that we are only at the beginning of science, and there is so much yet undiscovered.
That all of us should listen to the "Dramatic" remix of Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot".
We are utterly backwater, backward, and our cosmic insignificance is only matched in scope by our arrogance.
I ponder how long it takes to reach a trillion by counting one digit per second...(*31,709.79 years)
and that if using an "Atomic Force Microscope" to build one mole, by placing one atom per second...
(*Seconds per day: 8,6400 and divide 1 mole's worth of atoms: 602,300,000,000,000,000,000,000) it would take you 9.56 x 10 ^15 years to build 1 mole of atoms. A kgmole is the same number of moles as the number of grams in a kilogram, which is to say 1000 moles. Most human babies start with two cells and approximate 3.2 KG at birth on average in only 9 and 1/2 months Nature is performing virtually flawless engineering at the atomic/molecular level to make a human in nine months
and we'd never be able to finish... ever.
I do all I can to live fully in accord with the scientific laws, constants, and absolutes of reality.
Yet, I enjoy fiction, I enjoy storytelling, and I enjoy escapism.
I shake my head, "I am flawed. I am in many ways a hypocrite."
Anywho, I'm 47 years old, human, white, male, christian, a disabled veteran, as a student I am a; lay scientist, chemist, electrical engineer, bio mechanics and robotics guru. I will likely owe a few grand to "Tooling U", Pearson, and my local university until I am long dead and buried. My most recent experimentation is trying to use the super-diamagnetism of Anealed Pyrolytic graphene to build a working EM assault "Coil Rifle". The pyrolytic graphene acts like a mirror to magnetic fields without Cyronic Liquid gasses. The idea is to keep all of the energy directed inward into the ammo, rather than radiated outward from the inductor coils.
I am a two star DM in organized play, I used to run groups through pathfinder 1e adventure modules via Meet-up.com but they have removed so many features I fear it is unusable. I am a published author, See RPG DRIVE THRU .com , title "Tome of Psionics".
