Hey guys, as some of you may know, me and bowlofspinach have been playing around with rules and designing stuff for fun and I got an idea I'd like to try. It's a simple game (a 1-page or close to it) and I'm not planning to playtest too far unless it goes really well (I wish :D ). It is likely to be a slowish paced game (once or twice per week). I'm not expecting a lot of players, so I didn't think of the party limit yet.
Anyway, the game is meant to be a sci-fi history set during the Age of Discoveries with a hint of "cosmic" horror. I mean for it to be somewhat "real" setting (the sci-fi to be somewhat on the hard side), so players may want to discuss what topics they are confortable exploring before hand (some names and identifying details have been changed to protect the privacy of individuals and no animals were harmed during the planning of this game). This means "no magic" even though I am open to some mythological-like events (you know, random kraken crushes your boat :D) .
Players will start as they leave port to explore some lands and then will see what happens and if we manage to get some sci-fi and horror to show up in the middle of this :D
Anyone interested?
