Hi - Just joined this site.
I'm Dankel, first started playing AD&D in the early 80s as a student, played regularly until the late 80's at which point me and my group of friends moved on to Warhammer roleplay for another 10 years or so.
In the meantime real life family and commitments got in the way of RPGs and I restricted myself to PC games. For a number of years I've felt the urge to get back into role playing and when my teenage daughter started playing D&D I decided I would take the plunge and try to find a group. I'm now involved with two groups playing D&D 5e and enjoying it tremendously - saw this site and thought I would have a go at some games here.
Actually gaming with people rather than via a PC - regardless of it is face to face or via email is so much more fun.
