Star Wars 5e

howdy there! Im wanting to start running a Star Wars Game, but will not be Fantasy Flight instead a fan made Dungeons and Dragons 5e edition of the game, similar to the D20 version that used to exist.

The game takes place in 23BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin), the republic is still in full swing, and corrupt politicians rule the republic, a few systems have been withdrawing into independence but little beyond the outer rim.

The players will be directly involved in events leading up to the Clone Wars, though I will be considering this an AU (alternate Universe) and if things happen from the players events may change from say the movies.

This does sound interesting. Playing Star Wars without having to learn a completely new system? Count me in!
