This thread is used for players who wish to conduct a Group Evaluation here on the forum. Just post your results from Step 1 of Character Creation to begin!
The example given here should also be used as a rough guide on how to evaluate other player's Traits. Use the advise given within the example to help guide the shared conversation that will be started here.
Also adhere to the following for clarity:
- "@" whomever you are evaluating, especially if more than one player's evaluation is happening at a time.
- Type "End" in Bold at the beginning of a reply when you feel like you are going to "lock" your Trait's Degrees in place and have finished getting feedback from your Group Evaluation.

David: I guess I’ll go first. I’m Often Assertive, Occasionally Bold, Occasionally Determined, Rarely Influential, Occasionally Empathic, and Occasionally Passionate.
Jessica: Hmmmm. You said you’re only Occasionally Influential? Why’s that?
Traits that are assigned either the "Often" or "Rarely" Degrees are a great way to get the conversation started. These types of Degrees mean the evaluee feels strongly about their evaluation of the Trait it’s assigned to.
David: Ummmmm… I just feel like I don’t really go out of my way to talk to people.
Byron: I think maybe the description of Influence has more to do with "your ABILITY to gain trust from others" though? That’s how it’s written anyway.
Players should continue to reference the actual descriptions of both Traits and Degrees. This can give everyone a better sense of what is actually being asked to be evaluated.
David: Well, I guess I’m alright at that. It does say "using your presence and social skills alone" though? If that’s the case, maybe it doesn't really need to go "up" then?
Jessica: Yeah maybe… Well what do you do for work?
Asking about what the player does on a daily or weekly basis (like the type of job they have) is a good way to get a better sense of what types of Traits they are using Often or Rarely.
David: I work retail, mostly just cleaning up the store and what not. I hop on the register occasionally when they need me to.
Jessica: Do you have to help customers a lot when you’re on the floor?
Once the conversation begins to become more focused on a single Trait, keep asking them leading questions with a goal in mind. Find out if there is anything about their daily life that they might not be taking into full consideration that could alter the Degree of their Trait.
David: Yeah, but I try to avoid them when I can, haha.
Jessica: Of course! Well, I mean you aren’t just working in a cubicle all day… You’re definitely getting more social interaction than I am. I work in a warehouse, haha.
Byron: Yeah, I mean I work one of those desk jobs Jessicas talking about. I mean, I think as long as the customers aren’t running from you in terror after you start talking to them, you probably score higher on Influence than either of us!
If more than one player seems to be in agreement about altering a Degree, don’t let this slip by. Voice your opinion! Give examples of how you’ve rated yourself for reference.
