"I agree also, take the older path."

Yeah, sure seems like they wouldn't be much trouble. I agree we should follow the other path.

"I don't like walking..." Kai explains before jumping up into the sky to travel ahead of the rest in the direction they're searching.

To clarify, it appears that these D-Bees came to this valley from the south. They have been staging raids into Cartouche, scrounging what they can. They have run into some resistance, which lead to at least one of their own dying, and they may have carried the body back. The townsfolk did not mention any such fight explicitly, only that they don't think any of the townsfolk had yet been harmed.

The DBees do not look harmless. They are fierce and predatory but a dragon is a tough nut to crack.
They're now fleeing back to the south on the original path, past where Tipolei is hiding. Following the other path means following them.

You follow the D-Bees and they travel for a long time. They're certain they are being followed, as even care didn't keep a dragon or Mountaineer ATV from being noticed behind them.

The rush and slow, tied, then rush again. When they arrive at their destination, they are pretty worn out.

However, you've found a massive community of these D-Bees. Hundreds of them. The alarm goes up and they begin setting up their defense / counter assault.

What do you do?

Looking at his friends, Tipolei go try talk. Maybe they no be scare because Tipolei smaller than Kai. And if they attack, they do no damage on Tipolei... Tipolei smiles at Ana, Don't worry, they can't hurt Tipolei. Me got good armor.
Tipolei walks out to the db's, arms open and hands empty, until he is far enough to speak to them without raising his voice.

"That's a noble gesture, and perhaps they'll respond well to you," Ben says to Tip. "However, it might be worth noting that we've "shooed" the dragon away. Perhaps that will calm them down. We'll cover you."

Uh I don't think we can fight hundreds of these D-Bees alone. Should we go back and get help or I can call on my radio. Unless our fearless dragon wins the day that is.

"I'm not sure we need to fight them, but we do need more information," Ben says. "Perhaps we could spy on them as well, rather than sending Tip. I'm open for ideas, but we can't just ignore this settlement."

That's not a bad idea Ben. A spy might give us the information we need. I would offer but you need a pilot for Echo. I can be stealthy if I need to be. I just have a short attention span. Yeah, no, I'm not the person for the job. Chay gives a little snicker after talking himself out of the idea.

"I can turn invisible as well as have spells of disguise. I could go with Tip."

Ok, but you stay behind. Tipolei no want you get hurt...

"Good plan," says Ben."I'm ready when you are."

Kyron nods, "You got it Tip !"

Will invis stealth along with Tipolei.

Tipolei leads the way to the camp. When he arrives, perhaps with Kyron invisibly at hand, they are ready. Crouched behind a defensive wall, scores of arrows and rifles are pointed at him.

"You no come closer!" the challenge comes out.

Chay climbs atop Echo, ready and waiting.
