Roads & Boats

Played my second ever game of Roads & Boats tonight. Kind of a cool game, lots going on, but it feels a little like multi-player solitaire. Anyone here ever play? Thoughts?

A doozy of a game, one that I think requires some dedication and several plays to get over the intuitive hump and enjoy casually. An exercise in mental gymnastics cleverly disguised as an economic multi-player solitaire with cooperative tendencies. "Lots going on" might be understated a bit - I wouldn't say the strategy paths are convoluted, but they seem to require intense focus to achieve (for me). Glad I got to see what all the hubbub was about.
