I will look into them and take it under consideration ;) but I am pretty flexible -- if I could find that older supplement I had on guns of the old west I would re-implement that stuff -- gives more variety to the weapons and brings in a bit more historical info but that game out about the same time as the original deadlands and I cannot find a reference to it nor remember its exact name

Do you mean this? It's for the original Deadlands, but I'm sure it could be used with some revision.

That is an attempt to bring a bit of variety to the firearms, as well as a dash of realism without ruining the spaghetti-western feel.

Edit: Though there is a little bit of misinformation I see. The Winchester Lever Action 1887 shotgun is listed with an ammo capacity of 4, though the gun in the real world has a magazine of 5 rounds, plus a 6th round in the chamber and you could actually fit a 7th one on the loading arm. Official capacity of 5, typical capacity of 6, and 7 round capacity if you really wanted to push it. No idea why they have 4 listed. 4 isn't even the manufacturer's intended capacity.

Another edit: Just realized Deadlands itself has this gun listed as 4 round capacity. Interesting.

And a final edit: I think the book you're looking for is the Smith & Robards book, published in 1997 for the original Deadlands setting. That's the official supplement for guns and gear, at least. There's also the 1880 Smith & Robards Catalog for Deadlands Reloaded, which is an updated version of the book.

Doing fine here. Other than my kids being out of daycare and working a third as much, everything is pretty normal. Fortunately I'm still getting paid the same. If my two-year-old could stop wrecking stuff, that would be pretty sweet.

When do you guys think you'd like to start? I wasn't sure if we were waiting on an agreed time, or if there was one last person finishing up a character?

okay I have been very busy but I do plan to do the background story mesh -- which with approval from the players will be the basic lead in to the first adventure -- sorry for the delay on this RL is interesting ;)

Hey all, been a while so I thought I'd pop by and see how everyone is doing.

Yeah, it's been a minute. Things are progressing. Life goes on. I found out I've got about 50 days to complete a certification I've been pursuing for a job I want, so that's put a fire under my ass. No guarantee if it will help or if I even need it to start with, but that's how gambles work, I suppose.

How's life on your end?

Okay I was trying to put something together and I found that I am missing two characters from submission so far I only have Preacher Wilson Burke and Amos ?? Aka I am missing Callum and Marie submissions

My sincerest apologies. I'm bowing out of all my PbP games. I'm having to deal will a serious personal situation at home. I have no idea when or if it will get resolved.

So. With HoorayRat out of the game, how do we feel? I'm still into the game, and still excited. I'm ok with running with only 3, or with picking up a 4th, but I think we need to discuss the options.
