Looking so far we have:

Dreamblade: Pinnochio Wizard - Arcane
To Dream - Divine castery type?
LoudKid - Samurai - DEX based martial?
runekyndig - Archaeologist - Wizard/Investigator Hybrid - Arcane

If that stays that way I might look at a Trickter type Inquisitor.

Hey, Light, will we have access to retraining at some point during the adventure? I'm looking over my abilities and feats, and around level 10ish or so, I could really use a feat retrained. If not, that's OK.
Chunky She is Dex/Charisma, yes. And with Spring Attack and increased move speed, she can function similarly to a ranged character.

What Archetype would she be looking at LoudKid?

Oops, sorry, I meant Mythic Path.

LightOfMidnight says:
A few brief thought I can go into more detail on.

1.The Egyptian gods exist and are very old.
2.Elion and Myr are Azlanti deities who have problems with their daughter Sicva.
3.Apsu (Metallic Dragons) is one of the oldest beings in the Universe, and is opposed by Dahak (Chromatic dragons). If you go for latter, a possibility instead of wizard is blooded arcanist with the draconic bloodline. There are other ways to show draconic heritage however, like traits and feats.
4. If Pharasma (Death) is not incredibly old I would be very surprised, and fight against Urgathoa (Undeath)
Apsu visited my mother while my dad was out at war. I'll pick the Artifice domain

I found the blood of dragons trait but I haven't found any feats

Alright I've decided to go for an Oracle, more specifically the hybrid Oracle/Paladin the Pei Zen Practitioner. They essentially get the Paladin Lay on Hands feature (healing version only) and a couple levels down the line I can use the Profession (Herbalist) skill to cure conditions, including almost everything on the Paladin Mercy list (with unlimited uses, but not healing when I do it.)

I'm also going with a Halfling.

Rolls

Hp gained per level - (4d8)

(6737) = 23

Halfling Homeland - (1d100)

(85) = 85

Halfling Parents - (1d100)

(40) = 40

Halfling Siblings - (1d100)

(10) = 10

As I am taking the Life Mystery (or more specifically the Succor variant-mystery of life) I am not rolling the Oracle class table.

Rolls

Halfling Siblings - (1d2)

(2) = 2

Circumstance of Birth - (1d100)

(82) = 82

Parent's Profession - (1d100)

(2) = 2

Major Childhood Event - (1d100)

(76) = 76

Influential Associate - (1d100)

(69) = 69

Haven't decided what Path yet. Still looking over all the options.

Retraining will be fine. There will likely be a fair bit of downtime.

Also something I realised I didn't have written in the rules: I tend to take the stance if you want to swap out an ability that you haven't used you can do so for free. Especially for newer players, or people new to the system I find people pick something that looks good and realise there not really and opportunity to use it.

I'm still kicking around a few ideas right now, but mainly looking at Unchained Summoner- specifically the Soulbound Archetype.

Definitely going a strength based Inquisitor route.

Rolls

Health - (4d8)

(7277) = 23

Alright I have my build and character. The character sheet on this site....is a little crap for complex characters I think.

Ruus Diert is a halfling chosen of Chaldira Zuzaristan, the gnomish diety of Mischief, Battle, and Luck. His parents were particularly surprised, given that they were slaves on a pirate ship. Born beneath decks, an Azta appeared before them in secret and told them that Ruus would be instrumental in freeing the other shipboard slaves, but that he should apprentice with the shipboard medic (a non-magical expert) until that day.

--

Gameplay wise, Russ is a close-in support caster. I stand right behind the front line and fight defensively whenever I can. This grants luck bonuses to AC to the people I am next to, and I can react to give others more AC. I have several long-lasting buffs and the healing version of Lay on Hands.

--

Two questions though.

1. Are there any language suggestions? I have five ranks in Linguistics.
2. What are your thoughts on encumbrance? I cannot seem to make a character that doesn't immediately blow through light encumbrance unless they are a strength main, which I am not.

Languages - I'm planning for you guys to be fairly well travelled throughout the campaign. For start Celestial won't hurt. Hallit is likely the most common language in the area, Varisian won't be unheard of.

Encumberance - I am not super strict. A few pounds over, I'm chill, a lot over nope. Things that can help - Anthaul, Muleback cords, Mithral etc. Remember that as a halfing all your gear weight is half, while your encumbrance is 3/4 of a medium char.
May 3, 2020 10:11 pm
Normally, most mundane equipment for small characters is 1/4 the weight, aside from weapons/armor which is 1/2. Just throwing that out there.

Spending my gold is about the last real thing I have to do.
May 4, 2020 12:10 am
I have a strength based Martial Inquisitor build done, including gold spend - intending to go for Champion mythic path. Will try and transfer it into a GP character sheet tonight.
May 4, 2020 12:17 am
I have some spells to pick, and then some gold to spend on more spells.
May 4, 2020 1:52 am
I have to finish spending gp, come up with rumors, and pick a Path!
May 4, 2020 6:44 am
I'm going to pick spells and spend gold. Might have to tweak a feat, but that is where I am currently.
