Seftan watches out for anything valuable, but it seems that Gromph has either taken all of his goods or perhaps has them well-hidden. As he's almost given up on finding anything, however, he spots a large diamond glittering on a pedestal in the corner. At a glance, it's likely worth several thousand gold pieces.
The diamond in sight, you are caught off guard by a short figure standing in the doorway until he speaks, "Long time, no see!" he says, "Bet you 20 gold that he takes the diamond," he says, smiling and nodding toward Seftan.
It takes a moment, but you are able to make out the creature as a svirfneblin, a deep gnome.
The deep gnome smiles at Elayna, "Afraid I wasn't talking to you, young one. I was talking to her," he says, pointing to the container that holds Hunter's ashes.
Turning to Seftan, he chuckles, "Guess I'm out 20 pieces of gold, eh? Good to meet you, Sef... Diolus,"
"The dead speak to those who know how to listen," he says cryptically and ignoring Aelfric's other inquiry, smiling as he takes a step toward Elayna and holds a hand out toward Hunter's container, "Would you mind?"
The gnome takes the urn carefully and steps past you to the diamond on the pedestal. Taking it, he holds the urn in one hand and the diamond in the other. With a wistful smile, he suddenly smashes both of them together. There's a flash of blinding light and a cloud of dust fills the room.
After the dust clears, the gnome stands beside a familiar figure: Hunter Galfyne, looking no worse for her disintegration.
The robed half-elf stares at her hands, before settling her gaze upon the svirfneblin. "Jimjar," she states as though she shouldn't be surprised to find the deep gnome there. "What are you doing here?"
Hunter looks around at the unfamiliar room, settling her gaze at the company present. "You've all taken care of the beholder, then?"
