Races:
At best here is only hills near by. So Dwarven PC will have to have traveled here to aid. Elves are not unheard of but only a few have really been seen and always with doubts. Halfling seems to always be around. Most try to ignore them. They are watched but thought to mostly harmless. Dragonborn are much scorned. Almost treated as monsters. Gnomes are tolerated and tend to be judged on their own merits as are half-elves. Half-orcs bring mix results pending on the person. Some think of them as monsters still and other take time to judge them.

Classes:
Barbarian would be nature here. There is no bard college, but entertainer Guild does exist here.
There is a temple of Chauntea but it is weak, as there is almost no agriculture being done. Some do worship Selune and it is popular with a temple as well as Sune. Torm has a small temple that seems to thrive some. Tyr has the largest temple and well respected here. (Use only the Forgotten Realm Gods).
There is a small gathering of the Circle of Forest druids about. It is really more just two of them. Neither holds any power.
Mercenary and fighters are not uncommon here. Burgermister just doesn't have gold to satisfy them. They have enough force that there is no limits on armor and weapons shown in the city.
There is a temple for monks here. The man that did it hasn't been seen and the place there is falling decrepit.
Only Paladin seen ever here passed through and never returned. Guess this isn't high on their goals of a place. Perhaps now with forest darkening that might draw one.
Rangers like Mercenary are about here and there. None seem to offer any aid.
Thieves guild is alive but much subdue to avoid conflict. City just isn't big enough. Most thieves can work solo and not bother too much.
Most sorcerers are taken as badly as Dragonborn and there are none known in the city.
Warlock and Wizards are welcome it seems. Distrusted but tolerated. Fears of the unknown.

City:
City is large enough to support many guilds. This is a large wide spot on the road. No rivers or ocean really near by. Mostly all forest and hills. Mountains and such are far away.
