Character building

Looking it over, it seems like a skill-monkey type character, or perhaps a ranger could be quite useful.

Level 5 start, how about starting wealth, any magic items available at start?

1 Magic Item (uncommon and common) and Common gear.

1 common and 1 uncommon, or just one total?

Common gear, as in starting equipment, or common gear as in we can outfit ourselves in whatever would be logical and appropriate?

Smiles. One magic item. Put on the gear you want as long as it isn't special. Get done and put 100gp in your pocket. The mind should be thinking about placement and weight.

I have narrowed my character down to either a Grave Domain cleric. Or a bow-using rogue (scout most likely).

Does anyone have any strong (or weak) feelings for or against either choice?

I have two players in waiting and have sent message for one to start creating a character. For a replacement.

First player hasn't answered call in 4 days so I just activated the second player who seems to be much more active.
