Character building

I see three description loaded now in the description area. We have 6 players. Please place no commits in there. It is just an area where each person can see remember the other characters. Update as need be. I will probably place NPC there as well in the future. It is just a reference area.

Hopefully soon all will descriptions there and everyone will have pictures attached to their characters. I like all want to going soon and let the world unfold.

These characters are shaping up nicely. The game is developing a nice old-school feel.

I have 4 of the 6 players with description posted in the description area. I have removed the separate building area for everyone as they weren't needed. We are coming close to getting started.. :O) The last two that aren't in the description area have been posted before but not in the right place. Fixing that would be nice.. :)

madbookishcrow -- You have Darkvision 60 (no color), Trance as well. Those are standard elf base.

Guessing you have Bathed in Moonlight, Elf Weapon Training, Lunar Magic. Because of Bathed in Moonlight giving Stealth proficiency I'm thinking your short one skill, I see 4 from thief and 2 from Background and Perception from being an elf.
I think your HP are 38 rather than 36.

theeyetyrant - Horatio White -- You do get 6 spells but being you just obtained level 3 spells so you should only have 1 level 3 spell among your 6 known spells.

OctopusGLZ What are your Kensei Weapons? Calligrapher's supplies or painter's supplies?

I just checked, I thought I had them added on notes, I think it didn't saved properly.
The melee kensei weapon is the spear and the ranged kensei weapon is the Javelin.

I also chooses painter tools, I think it fits the tribal aesthetic.

I'll add them to the notes in the character sheet

evecar_solaris -- Monte I think you are shy two level 1 spells that you acquired when you went to Wizard 2. You need to list spell slotting on the character.

lenpelletier -- Seraphina -- You do know that the longbow in your gear that is heavy and you have disadvantage with such a weapon.

B1GxM1CH -- You do realize that if your using that shield for your AC you will mess up your Dueling. The two don't work together.

Well I was thinking of the idea that my character had taken up being a back alley doctor, with like basic herbalism and medicine etc and helping heal people to the best of his ability when they are too poor (or criminal) to get healing by other means, so if you want to be someone he has helped at some point that would be an easy connection to make. Same goes for anyone else's character.

madbookishcrow noted that and you have Medicine and Survival skills from that as well as healing Kit tool.

lenpelletier -- your characters are not limited at all to the 1st level stuff. So please do pick up the common gear you would like.

I never know what to do for equipment for higher level characters. I mean I gave him a short bow and a rapier. His background items. And a druid's component kit. (basically all his spells other than produce flame are heals) but like beyond that I'm like. uhh... What would even be worth adding?

You get any common equipment you wish plus one magic item (most have been choosing a +1 Item). You are not at all limited to what you would get as starting first level character.

Gene, does common gear mean non magical stuff from the PHB equipment section?

lenpelletier -- smiles..ah Yeah.. Non-Magical Gear. Do please keep it to reasonable amount. I just don't want to have to tag a gold amount on it and restrict everyone.

No worries, I'm not looking to abuse it. Will trade out my leather armor and longbow for a set of studded leathers and pick up the tools I'm proficient with.
