Kel easily ducks beneath the attack of the cultist in front of her, and she uses the momentum to drive her sword up into their body, delivering another quick strike to the pommel to drive it deeper.

The cultist lets out a wheezing sigh as the sword punctures his lung, you pull out the sword and the blood gushes from his gaping wound. The cultist has a surprised look on his face as he drops to his knees and the onto his face. He takes a few ragged breaths before lying motionless on the ground, a small pool of blood slowly expanding from underneath him.

Two down, two left. One of them completely healthy, one of them slightly hurt. Zachary is the last remaining to act in round 2

Zachary mutters another incantation and points toward the injured cultist .

A horrid ring full the vicinity, advancing towards the enemy.

The cultist to the ground, writhing and screaming in agony as blood starts to trickle out of his ears. He then lies motionless on the ground. The final cultist looks terrified, visibly shaking and muttering "P-p-p-please...".

Zachary stops to give a look at the distant cultist.

Something on him seems off, but he is not sure of what.

Maybe he reminds him of the patients of the clinic his family attended, but from everything he has seen... One can never truly know.

Insight is correct. As far as you can tell this guy is not faking it, he seems legitimately terrified. He’s not putting down arms yet, but it might not be too difficult to convince him to do so

Octavia stabs her spear into the ground, trusting Kel and Kirsk to react if this was a ploy. 'If you put your weapons down now, we don't need to continue this. Though we will be needing information.'

The cultist looks back and forth between the four of you and ultimately throws down his sword and holds up his hands. "Okay, okay, I’ll tell you what I can...just...don’t hurt me!"

Kirsk disarms him, "We can’t stay here long, I’m going to go look for the Kobalds, Kel can you join me? If they go back to the main camp they will inform the others." Kirsk heads out in search of the Kobalds.

'Where are the cult heading? And why do you join them. There are better ways to earn a living than to raid from others.

The cultist looks up and he speaks with a sense of awe cutting through his fearful stammering, "Have you ever seen a dragon? How can you deny their majesty if you have? I live to serve them, we people are not worthy of doing anything else. Praise be Tiamat!. He smiles blissfully and closes his eyes, but as he opens them again and looks into Octavia's impatient face, it seems he remembers his current predicament once more. "If...if I tell you what I know, will you let me go?".

Decent roll, but I'm afraid that I need a DC 20 to find them. The tunnel inside the plateau is dark and branching and they have left preciously few clues as to which direction they've gone. Zachary, if you join them then you can also give me a nature check

Oh dang, my bad. I just totally missed your post, sorry 😅 a nat 20 will always do it.
Kel, Kirsk and Zachary, you follow the kobolds into the crevice and walk through the dark tunnels. The kobolds leave very few tracks, but Kel you’re able to hear draconic voices very faintly travel through the tunnel network. Concentrating hard on it, you are able to against all odds track the kobolds to a cavern. As you enter you see the seven kobolds illuminated by sunlight from a large hole in the ceiling. The kobolds spot you as soon as you enter and fumble for their daggers to defend themselves.

Kel charges forward, confident that her companions were right behind her. Leading with a spinning leap, she lands in a crouch on one foot, pivoting as she slashes at one Kobold, and then dealing a quick series of kicks to another.

Spending a Ki point for flurry of blows.

Kel, you slice deeply into the chest of one kobold and before it falls dead to the ground, you break the neck of another with two massive spinning kicks.

Pesky creatures, freeze where you stand!

Once again, Zachary shakes his tunic to create wind, an air current that freezes the air and leaves frost trails in the cavern walls.

Gonna cast Frostbite. I don't wanna use my slots yet since these are fairly easy to deal with.

Edit: Wow, despite them having -1 in constitution, I don’t think they’ve failed a single frostbite save yet.

The kobolds pack advantage is cancelled out by their sensitivity to sunlight, so I’ll just roll straight up attack rolls.
The spell hits one of the kobolds, his dagger glazing over with a fine layer of frost, but it leaves the kobold unscathed. Three of the kobolds attack Kel while the remaining two run at Zachary.
