I've always called it D&D 3.75...the rules are very similar in many aspects, and I took to it rather than playing 4th edition.
I just couldn't get into 4th ed, for some reason. Not my cup of tea.
Same here. After switching from AD&D, our IRL group played 3rd/3.5 for 10 years. Skipped 4th, loving 5th now!
Someone started a PF game a few months back which I excitedly joined as I'd never tried PF but it died out. If you set one up, I'm interested. It what way will it be custom?
I say "custom" because the World, city, and storyline are all of my design (meaning I usually make them up as I go, unless they're major points in the plot...). It's a lot of work, but oh so satisfying.

I'd also be up for trying PF, as I have recently come into a bunch of Pathfinder books. ;D
That being said, I'd also be new to the system. If you're not opposed to training up newbs, I'd be happy to join!
I have no problem training up a newb. I had to teach several of my IRL friends to play, too, so it's no big deal at all.
