When outlining your character please post the following:

Step 1: Background (okay basically your story)

Step 2: Choose (or outline) the following :
.....Starting Duty : 5 (from Age of Rebellion)
.....Starting Obligation : 25 (from Edge of the Empire)
.....Starting Morality : 50 (from Force and Destiny)
..........Now the above 3 things have aspects that need to be rolled (and/or chosen but prefer if you rolled at least until you got something that fit the concept unless you really feel strongly about one of them) for each and these need to outlined in your Step 2 -- a Note here for Obligation you can assign the 25 to one Obligation or split it among more than one depending on what you feel your character should have

Also in this step if you check I have altered the choices as follows:
...Choose 4 of the following (cannot choose the same one twice)
--OR--
...Choose 2 of the following (cannot choose the same one twice)

So please explicitly list what you chose for this

Step 3: Select Species -- here just out line the crunch bits that are associated with your the Species you chose along with the Species :)

Step 4: Choosing a Career -- please outline what you did in this step

Step 5: Choosing Specializations -- please outline what you did in this step

Step 6: Invest Character Generation XP -- please outline what you did in this step

Step 7: Determine Derived Attributes (if you know how)

Step 8: Determine Motivations

Step 9: Character Generation Gear & Appearance

Step 10: Post-Character Creation XP Expenditures

Step 11: Post-Character Creation Gear

-------------- The ship thing I will be taking care of based on the number of active players

1. Vayne is a zabrakian who was orginally trained in the arts of the sith at a young age, and as he grew older he began to become a human for the sith not yet earning his lightsaber he was armed with a sword slaying countless unknown "targets". Until he finally earned his Dark Red Saber, and was told to go to Naboo and take care of a few targets, so he went with his best friend Dosh and they were hunting the targets and they ended up being children, and this confused Vayne why are we attacking Children they are innocent, so Dosh went to attack the children and Vayne would not let this happen and got into a saber fight with his friend the two traded blows until Vayne got the better of his friend and sliced his arm off after that Vayne screamed in internal Pain he was torn on what to do, meanwhile Dosh with his other hand reached for his blaster to shoot the children and before he could Vayne took off his head. It was that moment Vayne vowed he would not be a sith anymore and seeked out to become a Jedi.

2. Morality is 50 +21 and also chose the 2500 credits so I had 3000

3.Zabrak 2,2,2,2,3,1

4. I chose the Warrior because it fit my backstory

5. the specialization i chose was the shii-cho Knight it was the ancient style of saber fighting and the beginning of my saber training

6. with my xp I changed my Brawn to 3, and my Presence to 2 also spent a chunk on force powers in the Enhance tree getting the base Enhance plus Control of Coordination, Brawl, and Resilience, and what the remaining xp i bought all my 1st level talent tree skills

7.so my wound threshold is 15 my strain is 13 my soak is 4 and defense is 0

8. Vayne's Motivation is to Destroy all the Sith for turning him to a mindless bloodthirsty killer

9. Gear is a pair or Cortosis Gauntlets along with a Vibrosword, and a Concealing Robe

10. Vayne has been a hitman for the sith for years taking out Target after Target earning experience as he goes along taking out whoever stood in his path and that was just with a sword once he got his saber lord it was all over he was flying to planets everywhere taking out threats

11. I took a basic lightsaber which was Red at first but I have Modified the color to be Orange also gave it a curved Hilt for easier attack.

Let me know what you think

2) Morality is 50 +21 and also chose the 2500 credits so I had 3000

Note due to the background description I would prefer that you start with a Morality of 50 and perhaps put that chose into a +10xp and then we will need to discuss you training a bit I am trying to pull all the of the basic information together so as to present in a more cohesive manner but the curved hilt is more conducive to a single handed style which Shii-Cho is not. But again once I have consolidated that information we can talk a bit more about your characters training and skills at this point.

Also as stated your character being on a path of redemption would most likely have started off well below 50 Morality and getting up to a 50 would have been great progress.

Also as for the Orange blade -- we can talk about that as well -- as the blade color has to do a lot with how you work with the force and is why most (if not all) Dark Jedi's have red blades -- that being said I think it would be more interesting for you to start with your the blade you had and are now in search of a new gem to make a new blade.

Again will discuss more of this as we go just tossing this out there for now -- need to see what you are doing for Duty/Obligation/Morality --- as well as what skills you are planning on taking -- I hope it is more focused on being a Dark Jedi ;) since that is the background story

I thought you didn’t want dark characters? And I can go back to a red blade, and what do you want my morality to be?
Jun 6, 2020 5:38 am
I changed my Morality to 50 also added another force skill and 1 rank in Pilot (Planetary)
Jun 6, 2020 9:03 pm
Well you are not a Dark (evil) character -- you were once a Dark (evil) character but you are now pursuing the path of Light -- big difference in concepts ;) your not there by any stretch but your striving two steps forward for each step back kind of thing
Jun 7, 2020 3:34 am
ok got ya when do we start?
Jun 8, 2020 8:54 pm
As soon soon as I can get things completed -- I have to rethink the starting story and bring the 4 characters together more organically by inter-weaving you backgrounds.

Also this curved hilt advantage where did that come from? I am asking for 2 reasons -- (1) The only Jedi to posses such a hilt was Count Dooku and while he could gain an advantage initially it would be a short term advantage and would only be considered an advantage due it is uniqueness and not due to some actual design advantage (2) the style that would use a curved hilt is definitely not Shii-Cho as that would not conform to what that style is based on.

I am okay with the Shii-Cho Knight concept within the Sith as it is a style that takes control not to kill one's opponent and the Sith would not be all that concerned about that. On the plus side I believe the Shii-Cho Style can be expanded into dual wielding if you get good enough at it (I believe). I will be going through the various styles and creating the advantages/disadvantages of each so that these styles have some differences in them.
Jun 8, 2020 11:02 pm
The curved hilt was just for a more accurate strike I can stick to a regular saber and I’d love to dual wield sabers or use a dual bladed saber which would you prefer?
Jun 9, 2020 2:21 am
well the dual bladed saber is not an extension of Shii-Cho I do not think but I will be sure to outline that once I get to that point and its a bit down the path so I have a bit of time to iron that out and then outline it

If you would like you might want to read up on Count Dooku's fighting style and what the affect is with a curved handle vs the normal one -- basically its more of a fencer's weapon which is not what the light saber is akin to when used by a Force Users
Jun 9, 2020 2:30 am
So why don’t I take the curved hilt off and go back to normal.?
Jun 9, 2020 2:34 am
I think that was what I was kind of suggesting ;) as I felt that fit your concept better but I do not make those decisions for players I just make suggestions ;)
Jun 9, 2020 2:35 am
Ok I’ll remove the curved hilt
