Thanks for the add. Was someone willing to share...or have the share rights for the setting book? I have some info about Theros from some other sources, but just let me know either way. Thanks!

I have it on dndbeyond, but don't have a subscription to share the content. What info were you looking for? I could screencap or copy some stuff over. :)

EDIT: If someone else DOES, said person could create a campaign and then we all could join.

Hey everyone! Mr. Armitage, thanks for running this!

I can hook people up with content sharing. You need to make a free account with dndbeyond.com and then click this link join my campaign: https://ddb.ac/campaigns/join/1396041298065376. I have the legendary bundle, so you'll get access to every 5e book ever made plus some digital-only extras. Enjoy!

Hey Mr.Armitage I just want to say up front that, although I'm a big Magic fan, I don't expect your Theros to conform to any particular canon or whatnot. This is your version of Theros, and there are bound to be differences.

Happy gaming everyone!

No worries! The Legendary Bundle was actually gifted to me by Wizards of the Coast because I run a gaming club for kids, so a good deal of the thanks belongs to the generosity of WotC!

Oh nice. Also on the gaming club. If I manage to get a permenant job at a school may look into trying to start one, though att he moment just a cover so jump around too much.

Btw, I have the color beta to Heroforge, so if people want me to color up their character, send me a link to a heroforge pattern with color instructions and I'll hook you up. :) DM if you want your character done up.

Mr. Armitage, what is your feeling about reskinning weapons to match the setting? I'd like to take a rapier but describe it as a ore appropriate sword for the setting like a Xiphos

It’s a case-by-case thing, I think. A xiphos seems more like a short sword (wikipedia defines it as one), so I’m inclined to say its a short sword. Rapiers are also piercing damage, not slashing. Is there a Greek-style equivalent to a rapier?

I investigated a little further and found a weapon called a Mycenean Rapier that looks like this
[ +- ] Mycenean Rapier
I'll use that!

As soon as everybody has their characters and prologues submitted, we can get started. I'm excited to see how this goes. :)

Should have my prologue done tonight, thanks for waiting :) Also, good to know that you want to use the DND Beyond sheet. Is it okay if I submit the dndbeyond sheet a bit later? Possibly tonight, but tomorrow at the latest. My GamersPlane sheet is currently up-to-date and complete in the meantime.

Fun fact, some of the authors of the Theros book put a level 1-12 adventure on the DMs Guild: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/316107/Masks-of-Theros
