The party comes across what must be Bhjurba's Den, what's left of it anyway. The outskirts are a shanty town consisting of cages, tents, and shacks. There are more stone buildings and a few towers near the middle of the city.
However, it looks as though the town has been under siege. There are several large fires, and the outer limits of the city looks deserted. You don't see any invading forces or hear the sounds of a raging battle, but it might just be due to lull in combat. The air smells of burnt flesh and filth.
The party gets 150 XP for making it to Bhjurba's Den!
Leilara gains and extra 150 XP for using her quest item!

Ahead of the rest of the group, Kalimonsore scouts the town as a cat. From what he can tell, the slaves were all kept in pens and storage areas, while their masters enjoyed life in the large stone buildings in the middle of the town. All of the shackles and pens are empty, and most of the merchant stalls have been looted. There are many corpses of both slaves and city guards strewn about the alleys. The carnage gets worse the closer Kalimonsore gets to the center of the settlement.
It appears that the slaves staged a revolt against their masters, and judging by the lack of imprisoned slaves it looks like they were successful. By stealthy sneaking around the town as a cat, Kalimonsore discovers a sturdy looking butcher's shop that appears to be the headquarters of the revolt - as it is guarded by alert slaves. Furthermore, he discovers that by jumping across the roof of a few buildings and over a wall, one can easily bypass the defenses of the stone towers.
The most affluent of the masters appeared to have lived in the stone towers, but the slaves have not been able to pierce the stone walls that encircle them yet. However, the buildings outside of the tower walls have been broken in to, and it might prove profitable to take a look around.
OOC:
Though it's a bit hard to tell the difference between the dead, the slaves are generally dirtier and more poor-looking, while the guards are better fed and look healthier. Well, healthier when they were alive
