Assimar, bloodhunter, background: Detective
I don't know my parents, I was taken in by Church of Tyr. She was raised to become a paladin of Tyr as they recognized my celestial parentage. But it did not last. I have not problems with the saying
"Reveal the truth, punish the guilty, right the wrong, and be always true and just in your actions". But I sure did have a problem being the Church of Tyr's poster asimar chield, and the self-righteous snobs in shining armor. I left the upper city's paladins with some choice words and found a new home in the lower city.
I joined a detective/vigilante, Johan, who cared for those parts of the lower city where the city guards did not come.
We found that my celestial blood had interesting properties, particularly against some fiends, so Johan introduced me to Gerald. Gerald is a mercenary who taught me the secrets of the blood hunters.
Sam is a foul mouth young lady, who has an issue with authority figures. She does truly believe in
"Reveal the truth, punish the guilty, right the wrong, and be always true and just in your actions"
Quote:
Aasimar Guides
An aasimar, except for one who has turned to evil, has a link to an angelic being. That being—usually a deva—provides guidance to the aasimar, though this connection functions only in dreams. As such, the guidance is not a direct command or a simple spoken word. Instead, the aasimar receives visions, prophecies, and feelings.
The angelic being is far from omniscient. Its guidance is based on its understanding of the tenets of law and good, and it might have insight into combating especially powerful evils that it knows about.
Seraphina is her angelic guide, she is compassionate and hopeful, but a little too "fluffy and blue-eyed" to Sams cynical view on life Seraphina and Sams relationship as well as Sams temper is something I would like to explore, while Sam is towing the dark line (blood magic and her Feat is Magic Initiate (Warlock))
