The leader of the thugs looks Shargon up and down, then takes another step closer (another couple steps and he'll be able to look out into the room upstairs). "If a drink'll get you all warmed up, that sounds lovely." He turns his head back and yells to the barkeep. "A couple ale up here for the lady with the axe!" He grins and smiles. "Now, your friend there says you know somebody we're looking for. We're just looking to chat."

Shargon gives an off chuckle, I know a fishmonger called Tarina, but she is no where near here unless you fancy traveling long ways for a chat.

See this man might be a good one for drinking, Feeling friendly she takes a step or three to meet up with him. She shoves her axe into his hands and chest to hold forcively, I drink at the bar. She doesn't care what the other do as she is attempting to lead/pull him down to the bar for Ale. This is no deception. She really does want to take to the bar for drinks. She just has a rather forceful nature about her.

The man grins widely, intimidated for sure, but you get the sense that he may be into that kind of thing. He motions his men to go back down the stairs. "You know...sure. You and I, eh? Let's have ourselves a drink." He turns to his men and you reach the bottom of the stairs. "Head up there and take a look around."

Ever so tall Shargon may be busy for a while or more. She likes a man she can bully a bit and takes it well. She will chat about times and find out more about him as he appears to be a leader among men. And she does like Ale too. And if they are lucky there will not be a bar fight. She likes to close up an evening well. Hopefully someone will get her quarterstaff she left upstairs.

And if someone has a lute, well she can play and lowers the chances of a bar fight.

Shargon - He sits down with you, sliding you an ale. "So, you from round here?" He slurps his ale loudly, keeping an eye on his men who are now heading up the stairs.

Upstairs, three men move upstairs, entering the room and begin look around. They scan the room, then begin walking toward the rest of you, along with Tarina in disguise. "You lot seen a dame named Tarina?"

Shargon downs her first ale fast. Always good to get the edge off before a good fight. Been around. Seems a relative place. How is it that you get to be in charge? She is curious about him. She semi forcefully put her hand on his shoulder. Nice and strong. Can you handle axe like mine?

Harmony purses her lips with mild disappointment when Shargon heads downstairs. The plan was a good one, and, in the least, got the leader out of their hair, but there was still the problem of the lackeys. She shakes her head as they approach their group.

"We have not." she tells them impatiently. "And if you don't mind, my friends and I were just getting ready to leave."

She attempts to lead the lot of them past the group and down the stairs.

Sam is sitting drinking with the real Tarina seeing how it all plays out.

The man looks at you, scans over the rest of you, including Tarina, and then nods. "Sorry Sister, just looking to settle a score, y’know?" He smiles, nods, and walks over to the rooms to search them.

He knocks on one of the doors that is locked, it opens slightly, and he stumbles back as a beastial screech emanates the room. "Good Gods! Sorry ma’am just looking for someone. Must be mistaken." The door slams shut.

You realize if you’re going to leave, now is the perfect time.

Without looking at the others, Amnon gets up and walks downstairs. He hopes the rest will get the hint that they ought to leave

Sam leads Tarina out, so Amnon is in front, and Sam in the end of their little group. They are leaving, but still hiding her as best as they can.

Shargon - He smiles at you, wafting his breath in your direction. "You wanna know why they call me Dead Eye?" He stares at you while grinning, a clouded cataract in his right eye. He looks down at the axe. "I could definitely swing something like this. You'd definitely be impressed."
OOC:
Perception Check rolled for the head pirate, at disadvantage bc Shargon was distracting him.
The four of you make it downstairs, passing Shargon and Dead Eye at the bar. You continue pressing towards the door, when Dead Eye shouts out. "Hey hang on, where you goin'? You said you'd tell us where Tarina is." He looks back and forth to the group, waiting for an answer.

Shargon smiles and takes her hand and forcible moves his head to face her eyes to his eyes. I can tell you about that fishmonger later. Seems Shargon cares to capture all his attention. And we can see how well you handle ... the axe.

Is this a persuasion/flirt check? If so, make one. :)

Persausion for sure. And it appears she is rather persuasive... (In her own way). She is getting good at this.. :)

Dead Eye looks at you, Shargon, then grins widely, having seemingly been completely distracted by your feminine wiles. He moves back to the bar, leaving the rest of you open to leave.

Harmony makes sure the opportunity is not wasted, and hastens the others out of the door.

Amnon chuckles as they leave the tavern before addressing Tarina, "Easy peasy! Any idea where to go and continue this conversation?"
Jul 3, 2020 7:12 am
There is a bakery, with a small corner stall, not that fare from here. They have lovely buns. Of if it is privacy we want, then the graveyard is mostly unpopulated by living beings.

She looks at Tarina. Do you have any suggestions?
Jul 3, 2020 7:16 am
Shargon - You watch your new friends leave the bar, and you are watching as Dead Eye polishes off his drink.

Everyone Else - Tarina laughs to herself as you round the corner out of sight. "Holy shit, I can't believe that worked." She seems relieved to be out of there. "I...uh...buns sound good. I mean, wait...sure graveyard. But, what about your friend?"
