The door into the bathhouse is hanging half open, as the old man exited out of there. Where are you leaving them?

Yup, bind the unconscious ones. Can we lock the front door? Just in case more cultists come back later.

Damn! Haha. Shargon ties some killer knots, and you're pretty confident neither of them are getting away. You then make your way inside, closing the door behind you. There is no deadbolt, but it does have a bar that can be placed across them to prevent it from being opened from the outside.

Inside, the walls of this twenty-foot-high pillared chamber are adorned with frescoes of bathing royalty. Moonlight streams through stained-glass windows, creating colorful patterns on the tiles of polished blue marble that cover the floor. Three shallow, sunken pools contain scintillating perfume-scented water. White marble benches bearing stacks of dry towels are situated near the pools, each of which comes equipped with a pair of brass faucets.

OOC:
Nice. Like a modern cheap hotel. Shargon will pocket some scented soaps.
OOC:
Is there any exit out of this room or any place where there might be stuff stored to plunder through?
Jul 24, 2020 11:36 pm
There are two doors. One to the north and one to the south. Neither are locked, and they are private massage rooms.
Jul 24, 2020 11:40 pm
Shargon waste no time at all and will address both the doors to the private massage rooms to see if they are occupied. She doesn't knock will just open the doors wide open.

There’s not much in here, but the north room has a cracked open secret door that was not properly closed.
Jul 26, 2020 7:44 pm
Amnon edges closer to the secret door and listens for any sign of movement or talking

Shargon not feeling like waiting really will push past Amnon and pass through the secret door looking ahead with her quarterstaff once again handy.
Jul 27, 2020 9:32 am
Amnon stares dumbfounded at his colleague and frowns, "I know I'm not the most subtle guy in the world, but this is like teaming up with a rampaging ox". Shrugging he starts to follow after Shargon

Shargon shugs and says Your too slow and moves on.
Jul 27, 2020 11:39 am
Harmony shakes her head with a strange mixture of irritation and mirth at the antics of her colleague. She certainly kept things interesting, she thought as she followed into the secret passage.

Amnon, you stop for a brief moment, and smell something horrible coming from below. As Shargon pushes past you, it Hits you. Yup. Rotting flesh. Blood. There’s a distinct iron taste to it.
Jul 28, 2020 6:46 am
Man it is bad down here. She does her best to deaden the smell to her nose as she proceeds.
Jul 28, 2020 10:38 am
Amnon readies his crossbow as he follows Shargon. This feels like it could go bad extremely fast.

Harmony, its to late for you to draw the suddle card. This is the path we chose, to late to change it. Sam is no stranger to blood, but not in these quantities.
Aug 1, 2020 3:56 pm
Harmony crinkles her nose. The iron scent of blood is one she has grown used to, both in the rites of her church and in their work as healers and warriors. The rot, however, is a far less familiar smell, and by far not a pleasant one.

She rolls her eyes at Sam's attempt at humor and lets out an unamused, "Hardy har. Let us proceed and be done with this place. I feel already that I will be needing to bathe after this."
