OOC:
Okay what follows is a blending of backgrounds as well tweaks to bring this into a more cohesive story series and bring all the various characters together into a cohesive group -- now none of this is written in stone -- if you would like something tweaked in someway please make a post outlining that -- otherwise if you are fine with this please post your acceptance of the details. This is Scene 0 which means no interaction or further story elements will be rendered within in here -- this will simply be the collective background that you are all aware of and explains why you are all together and work together.
The Zabrak resemble Humans to some degree, but have a number of significant physical characteristics that set them apart from baseline Humanity. The most striking of these is a series of vestigial horns that crown the heads of both males and females. These horns grow at puberty in varying patterns and signify that the time of their rite of passage is drawing near.

Further duing this rite of passage is where they receive another of their most instantly recognizable characteristics, their facial tattoos, which are made up of thin lines that symbolize many things including, but not limited to family lineage, place of birth, and even a design that reflects their individual personalities. These lines help Zabrak to maintain family connections which is a very important element of the Zabrak society and culture.

For while all Zabrak are fiercely independent, usually taking on roles in society that minimise their need to be ordered around by others. Causing them to be often mistaken by other species for being aloof or arrogant, which is erroneous, for while Zabrak are unashamedly proud of being survivors they are far from aloof nor arrogant and in fact work very well within teams but are always striving to obtain the leader roles within these teams.

Kleto Drostome is a male Zabrak born and raised on the jungle moon of Nallastia. His family, is part of a small colony of Zabrak that have existed there for many generations. The family works as hunters and trappers within the terraformed jungles helping to preserve the balance of nature and making sure various species do not destroy the natural habitats due to overpopulation. While living at what others would consider near poverty levels, suited the Zabrak society and culture. However when the Empire moved in and took control of Fondor as a primary place to build star destroyers things definitely did not improve any.

It started small but simply got worse over time. The Empire had no respect for those living on Nallasita and used their superior resources to implement a form of detached oppression restricting all outside trade in order to force the population to accept their extremely unfair trades which pushed the planetary population into a much harsher life style. Further they would occasionally but unofficially raid the planet for slave labor by highering outside entities to conduct these raids. To say that the population of Nallasita was detrimentally affected would be an understatement. Further it was during one of these raids that Kleto's older brother Vayne was abducted.

Kleto, like many finding themselves under harsh Imperial rule, found himself drawn to the Rebellion and after joining a resistance group on Nallasita it was not long before he was transported off the jungle moon and thrived within the alliance. Specifically when it came to small group combat and tactics and it was here he become part of various Rebel missions.

Meanwhile Vayne did not become part of the slave labor force but was instead recognized to be a Force Sensitive and was shunted off to be "trained" (aka brain-washed) in the arts and ways of the Sith. As he grew older he began to operate as an enforcer for the Sith amongst other human species. However, having not yet earned his lightsaber he did this armed with a vibrosword effectively slew a countless number of unknown targets until he finally earned his Dark Red Saber and became an even more effective agent for the Sith.

However, this would all change when he and a colleague (fellow dark jedi) named Dosh were sent to Naboo to hunt down and take care of some designated targets. Targets that turned out to be children, and not those old enough to be dangerous, but kids so young that it would be impossible for them to defend themselves nor to effectively even flee or survive on their own. This confused Vayne as it made no sense to him for them to be slaughtering innocent children. Dosh on the other-hand had no qualms and moved to begin the slaughter with a slightly perverse smile on his lips. This just proved too much for Vayne and instead of attacking the children he attacked the true enemy present his colleague, Dosh.

The fight that ensued was vicious but the anger and outrage that fueled Vayne's attacks proved to be superior to that of his colleagues and he eventually got the better of Dosh cut off one of his arms but held back killing him and instead screamed from the internal emotional pain of what felt like betrayal by his teachers. This torment broke through the brain washing and memories of his previous life return in a flood. However, Dosh had not been idle and had, with his remaining hand, pulled his blaster but before he could shoot either Vayne or the kids, in a mental flash of force filled clarity Vayne removed Dosh's head. Looking down at the head of his colleague with that seemingly perverse smile still on his lips, Vayne vowed he would be a Sith no more and he would do all that he could to remove every Sith's smirking face from their shoulders but he would do it as a Jedi, whatever that meant. His first act was to get the children he had been sent to kill, to safety. This got him branded a hero even though he did not feel like one it allowed him to join with the rebellion and work within its network.

It was as a rebel that he was reunited with his brother Kleto, but it was Kleto that recognized the facial markings of a family member and established that Vayne was his missing older brother. The stories his brother shared with him about the family helped to soothe some of the internal pain but he still struggles with using the Force having only been taught how ot use it from a Sith perspective which meant all those dark emotions just kept bubbling up within him which he had an intuitive feeling is ont the of a true Jedi.

With the inclusion of his brother, Kleto's group now consisted of three individuals the third was a Droid called D3-0R4 II or just D3 for short. Whom he rescued during a raid upon an Imperial facility on Malastare and the two have been working together ever since.

Now D3-0R4 II is currently a hodgepodge of 2-1B Surgical Droid parts and the L3-Series Maintenance Droid. However while his core circuitry and training are still that of 2-1B, the fact that is torso and head chassis are those of the Maintenance droid means he is often mistaken for a simple maintenance droid. How this came about was during his service to the Empire where he was assigned to be a front-line field surgeon. Where he subsequently received sever damage to various parts over time but since resources were lean he was repaired using the parts from decommissioned LE Maintenance Droids. This had the added benefit as this gave D3 a set of interchangeable arms capable of not only perform surgery but also capable of using a blaster rifle. Further it was this depletion of resources and maintenance that led to his not receiving his regular memory wipe and as such he had begun to look for an opportunity to escape imperial service before some bad tempered imperial officer decided to scrape him for spare parts, since he was basically a composite of such spare parts. So D3 took the chance to willingly aid and escape with the ragtag group of rebels when they raided the imperial facility on Malastare that he was stationed at. Since then he has been a companion to Kleto providing medical care for the injured and on occasions fighting along side him. He has since joining the rebellion adorned himself with a coat of blue and white strips on his sides. Still the fact that he sports several imperial serial insignias means he can and has used these to present to imperial officers and stormtroopers to assure them that he is not an alliance asset which while effective is not the case and none of these serial numbers are actually still in active service to the empire anymore which if this were to come to light and be realized he would most likely be in rather big trouble.

Today we find Kleto, D3, and Vayne seated in a cantina on the war ravaged world of Kothlis awaiting a contact who has information that has been deemed vital enough to send a group to provide aid.

Seems pretty good to me, although i have a question. What galaxy map will you use? just the core rulebook one?

no I have one that I pulled off the internet that I tend to use -- seems fairly official and uses the coordinate system -- then I have a few others too and then maybe a few of me own ;) -- but yeah the big one I use seems to have most of the stuff that is core related

and this puts you all in the Naboo locale area -- and by that I mean that big area of the map in the Naboo direction from the Core
