Alright ladies and gents, I've decided I'm going to go ahead and run my first game here on GP. I've gone through my old notes, made a few changes, and brought in a Pathfinder campaign I was working on with some IRL friends back in the day.

Trouble in Paradise:

The Island Empire of Olera has enjoyed a period of peace and prosperity ever since The Paladin King Roland the First destroyed the regime of Dread Lord Damos and sent his monstrous armies scattering into the wind.

It is now 100 AD (After Damos), and the Freedom Celebration is in full swing in the village of Dewfall. King Roland the Fourth has petitioned the guilds and asked for a party of adventurers to meet an archaeologist that has made an important discovery and escort him from Dewfall to the castle.

There hasn't been any major action in nearly 90 years. This looks like an easy gig...what could possibly go wrong?

I've applied, though I hate myself for it since I'm already in 2 dozen games!

Yeah, running 4 games, playing about 20 :(

I'm an addict, I guess

@_@

A spot is there for you, but if you think it'll be too much for ya, you won't hurt my feelings by bowing out. :)

Well, I applied, but I might be approaching my sane limit of games in the near future as well, especially because I don't know Pathfinder at all!

We'll see though, I'd love to get experience in the system!

Is Pathfinder easy to pick up?

2 of 5 slots filled.

And hopefully, I don't scare you away from Pathfinder completely, DJForeclosure. Looking forward to helping you learn the system.

If you've ever played D&D 3.5, Pathfinder is easy to translate into. They basically took the 3.5 rules and tweaked a few things, added some things to the classes, and fixed some broken things.

Applied. Haven't done PF before, been looking to give it a try.

I've been wanting to try PF so my addiction will get me through the multiple games. As it is I think my addiction isn't as bad as some of yous'.

I've got one more slot open for anyone that wants to jump in.

Gods help me, I've applied as well! :-D Do we need to start an RPG addiction support group already? :-D

Hi, my name's Irvan, and *sniffle* I...I play RPGs.

With that, I'm full up. Thanks for applying, you guys! Looking forward to a great game!

You did have a previous thread a few days back that drummed up some enthusiasm, to be fair.

But yeah. Excitement. :)

True enough. Still wasn't expecting to fill every slot in two hours on my first GP game.

Now I gotta live up to the hype. @_@ lol
