I like the house rule for it...but if his (or your) hp drops to zero, you have to use the regular ritual...

Yep, sounds right to me! :)

Do we wanna stick with Summon Monster II being timed in the same way as the spell would be even with the Eidolon? That would make sense to me. It sounds like the ritual-summoning is just "until you fall unconscious" but I think Summon Monster has an actual time limit?

Edit: Ugh, although now that I say that, that means Summon Monster only brings out the Eidolon for # = level rounds. This is probably why the ritual is important...

How about this: For 2 uses of your Summon Monster II spell-like ability, you can "quick summon" your Eidolon without a time limit, but he has "summoning sickness", meaning he won't be able to react or move until the next round. If he or you fall to zero HP, he'll be banished back to his home plane, and you'll have to use the standard 1 minute ritual to bring him back.

Does this sound fair and balanced to everyone?

Apparently our goal is to split the party up as much as possible! ;)

I'm okay with this. Should prove interesting.

There's a certain point when "splitting the party" involves "party members being bisected."

That point is always sooner than you think.

It's like you read my mind.

I got a fever, and the only prescription is some kobold blood. Lets merc these little bastards.

Xulara may leave some for you.
Apr 6, 2016 7:38 pm
Just need to get everyone going and these 2 outside are boned. I have a feeling i will hear Xulara screams for help soon so i can come save you.

Not with rolls like that, you won't. Sweet jeebus.
Apr 6, 2016 7:49 pm
Should Xulara's scene be paused for a minute? She's gone through like three rounds in there, and the one outside hasn't moved at all. By the time we finish outside, Xulara will be in tomorrow already! ;)

Xulara moves quick! ;)
Apr 6, 2016 7:56 pm
We would to, if we were playing...

nice rolls though, sheesh. i might just stand back and watch you rogue stomp these mofos.

Sweet :) Just figure that by the time that this is actually occurring for Xulara, we will probably be walking in.

Ironically, this is the spot in the scene where I was going to pause it anyways...3 rounds in sounds good to me.

Also, I'm just waiting for Hegy to declare her action. Once I see that, that round will be resolved, and then we'll move to the next one.

And then there's the kitty...who is in almost as dire of straits as Xulara...

the entire town is under attack by grenade wielding but conveniently color coded kobolds, we are all in dire straights.

Holy hell, don't any of you people work? :-) Give me a few to get caught up, have something posted in a bit... :-)
