It's helpful, and keeps me honest. It's been a minute since I've run a game, so I'm refreshing my memory/making it up as I go ;)
Yeah, I haven't played PF in a couple of years and it's got a massive number of oddly specific rules anyway, so it's impossible to memorize (the reason we stopped playing it at my table).

Most of the players at my old table preferred oWoD over D&D/PF...so we never really got to play it very much. Over the last year, with the baby being born and new job and everything, I haven't had much opportunity to sit down and run or play...and with little man being a year old now, I still don't get much of a chance to play without making sure he doesn't eat the dice.

When I do run, though, I prefer to just use the rules from PF and create my own setting...in this one, the PF gods are prevalent right now, but the Faerun/Greyhawk deities are known as "the Old Gods". Memorizing the landscape and history of Golarian is just a pain in the arse...

I liked owod stuff, but really played it because its the only thing our group ever wanted to play. I much prefer the fantasy setting for gaming.

you ever seen 3 monkeys try to have sex with a football? This combat is going about like that.

Is it back to the players' turn now?
Apr 8, 2016 10:14 pm
Yes, yes it is.

Well its odd shape and lack of holes make it quite humorous to see a gaggle of monkeys attempting coitus with it.

Now lets see if we can go into the temple and make a difference.

I dunno, guys. The ninja is getting things done. His luck might've run out, though...

How do crits work again? You roll to confirm (what do you need to get?) and then would you need to roll anything else or is the damage doubled?

You make another attack roll with the same modifiers as the original. To fonfirm, it doesn't have to be another 20, it just has to hit.

I have the same question about the damage though. The rules say you roll again but my old D&D3e group used to just double it to save time. I don't know how irvanovich wants to do it.

I always doubled it. Worked well for me
