Episode 1.4: Rescue Operation (Anthony)

Before leaving Mica gave you her spare dagger and Veronica gave you a kiss on the cheek. Dylan did not see his summon do this though so you're safe.

You saw Dylan taunt a crowd of goblins out of their encampment and into the forest. They did not notice you. There are still other goblins in the camp and you are not sure if the goblin captain is still there.

You can enter through the gate, there are no guards guarding it anymore or through the crude fence the goblins made.

Tony summons the Chrono Staff, a metal staff about four feet long. The tip had an orb with a sand dial inside.

No one seem to have noticed you when you entered the gate but you did see a couple of goblins walking around and they seem like talking to each other in a language you could not comprehend. You passed behind the first tent going east. Then the second tent. Then the third. With Dylan taking with him most of the goblins inside the camp sneaking became easy. You need to pass behind five more tents before you can get to the captive adventurer. After passing the fourth you notice a goblin blocking your path to the fifth house. You also notice another goblin come on the path you passed.

At the moment you are stuck behind the fourth Tent. What would Tony do?

"Gueee!" The goblin was alerted by your presence and screams in a goblin language.

The goblin then charges at you with the club in its hand. However you easily avoided the charging goblin's attack causing it to lose balance and fall down the ground.

The other goblins are now aware that someone invaded their encampment and are approaching the source of the shout. You have a few moments to run and hide before the other goblins see you.

You scramble away after successfully slowing the time in the area. You got away fine, and you were able to hide and make your way to the back of the seventh tent getting nearer the captive human. From where you are you can even see the tree and the captive. The other goblins couldn't find you but are wary of your presence.

Blocking your way to your goal is another goblin. This one's wearing a hide hooded robe. Once you pass him, you'd successfully reach your goal.

Ugh. Why are there a lot of these goblins still left around here.

Anthony summons a stone as he hide behind the tent. He throws it in a direction away from the path in order to trick the goblin mage to move away. Once the goblin mage's tricked, he'd sneak up pass it to the next tent then to the next and then to the captive that's bound to the tree. If things don't go too well he'd make a run for it!

Having eidetic memory he recalls that the captives name must be Maki.

"Guee?" The goblin mage heard the stone drop and got curious what that was about. It moves towards the sound. Tony used the opportunity to sneak past the guard and then made his way to where the captive is.

The captive's a young man in wearing only his pants blind folded and tied on a tree. White haired, brown skinned, pointed ears, you realize that he's not exactly human. He has wounds all over his body but he is breathing. He heard you come closer.

"Who's there?" He asks.

The bindings and blindfold disappears and enters Anthony's dimensional storage. Tony can assess that the elf's bruised and wounded all over its body from getting beaten and clawed by goblins. The man's weakened and is in no form to fight but he can stand and walk."Mica... Take... me...to...her..." He says as he try to regain he struggle to stand up.

Tony has no way of treating the elf's wound right now. Looking around there's an exit behind the tree. A path that leads into the forest. They can escape there or go back down where he passed through back to Mica and Dylan.

Maki didn't have the strength to go against Anthony. The man clenches his fist in frustration as they walk into the forest to escape and hide. Soon the goblins would find out that their captive went missing.

The trees are denser in the part of the forest Anthony and Maki went, there are tall shrubs that could serve as cover where Anthony could hide Maki for the time being.

Maki lies down the ground and lies his back against a tree.

"You should... escape. We can't defeat... that monster!" He tries to tell you.

Maki repeated what he said. "You should... escape."

He lack the strength to stop you but he tried again. "Get...Mica...Escape."

Tony walks back toward the camp. No one seem to have found out that their captive went missing. You hide behind a tent and notice that the goblins are all headed to the center, in front of the goblin tent. It maybe imposible for you to sneak towards the tent but the other paths are clear of goblins.
