I had a concept for a game that won't get out of my head, so I might as well run it. :)

The player characters are all family members from a long line of monster-slaying heroes, but the monsters their ancestors used to hunt have been gone for generations. Much of the family's arcane knowledge and magical resources have been lost over the years, but they maintain their traditions as best they can, training up each successive generation to carry on the "family business" of being prepared to battle eldritch horrors at the drop of a hat.

This will be a high-powered game, starting at 11th level, with a focus on dungeon delving and combat. The roleplaying aspect will mainly be centered on how the characters interact as a family.

It's not particularly original, but I think it will be fun. If you're interested, reply below! I seem to have picked up a couple of players before even posting about it, so I'm looking for a couple more (starting with a group of 4).

Are you looking to incorporate the Acquisitions Incorporated ruleset?

I hadn't thought about it, but I'll check it out. :)

That should be enough people for now... I'll update if anyone drops out. Thanks all!

I love it. Do you still have a spot? I have a concept or two that would work wonders in a game like this, if I do say so myself lol

EDIT: oh come on really? This whole thing was opened and closed while I was asleep? Now I'm mad :(

If you don't set an alarm every half hour at night to check GP, you're not a proper roleplayer 😤

Spoken like someone who's already in a couple dozen games ;)

I would like to give my spot to Tears if that is possible? I was already umming over whether I should have another game, but I really did like the concept. I know this is the exact sort of thing Tears has been looking for, and I am already in a good number of games.

Though if you run similar in the future when I have less on my plate I would still definitely be interested

That's... Generous of yours. Are you sure about that?

There's probably a catch. Read the fine print. Light might demand your soul in exchange or something.

Did someone say BLOOD... Hmmm...

Yeah. As said I was already torn on grabbing it, as in a lot of games/running a few. And also I honestly am not used to 5e enough to understand what to do at high levels. Low levels are good for me rn. I clicked on the concept more the high levels, you will will get more out of it than me. (If it was a pathfinder high level on the other hand you can pry that from my cold dead hands :P)

And no catch... unless you manage to get in a pathfinder high level game and put in a good word for me :P

This is why you should run an application process. :P This game sounds pretty rad, with shades of Netflix Castlevania.

Sounds like a great concept, but seems full. Let me know if there becomes an open spot. Happy Gaming!
