Hello! I've been wanting to play some more DnD lately, so I'm looking for one-two games to join.

I'm still fairly new to the system, so something low-level might be quicker for me to get acquainted with, but I can play high levels too - as long as you don't mind questionable strategic choices and occasional failure to remember mechanics.

I prefer original adventures over published ones, morally sound characters and grid-based combat. Not very fond of political intrigue as main focus, but if it's alongside an epic adventure, it's cool. Horror and survival elements are great, and homebrew worlds are especially fantastic for me.

I'd rather make a new character than play a pre-made, and I wanted to play a non-spellcasting class - probably a fighter. (Had this neat idea about a doctor-turned-warrior character, would be great if I could use it somehow.) I can play solo or in a party, and I'm not very quick to post - one-two posts per week is the best I can maintain. Also, weird grammar happens in my posts sometimes. XD

Let me know if you have a game I may join.
Thanks for your time! :)

if you like to play solo, I would be interested.

I'm new here too. I've played D&D forever, but never play-by-post. Before I DM my first big adventure, I need to figure out the "how-to" of this platform. If you tell me more about your Dr.Warrior character, I'd be happy to create a smallish adventure for us both to learn from.

Skallagrimm, I'm absolutely up for playing solo!

My thoughts were along the lines of a half-elf surgeon who unwittingly got caught up in some sort of criminal ploy and ended up having to run before he was "removed" as a precaution. Now he is trying to avoid his pursuers while posing as a mercenary to earn money, applying his skill with a scalpel in a more... destructive way. He is kinda bitter about losing his previous peaceful lifestyle, but mostly adapted to being a lone wanderer. However, he still wants to find a way to return back to his practice, perhaps by finding a powerful employer or actually eliminating the organization that chases him.

So, probably a Dexterity-oriented battle master fighter with a mess of attributes. I wanted him to be a character who reflects his change in profession and doesn't have the most optimal spead of skills. A mess for combat, but hopefully fun anyway! :D Would that work for you?

sorry FS,

I'm not sure why I missed this post. I'm on it now though.
