The Dark Eye : Looking for Players

The Dark Eye is a fantasy roleplaying game from Germany. Where your characters take on the role of heroes in the world of Aventuria. Aventuria needs heroes to protect from monsters and various dark schemes.

The year is 1040 FB, and we will begin with your group in Arania, it will start like many classic adventures in a tavern. Arania is a convenient place to start as the locals are fascinated by Elves, and have a high degree of respect for dwarves.

The playable races include Humans, Dwarves, Elves and Half-Elves.

Something worth noting, as far as the setting goes, the golden age of the Elves and Dwarves is long past, so usually they would adventure to uncover the mysteries of the past.

We will play with the typical heroes as experienced. The system offers many customization for your character and I'm more than happy to teach new players or people even without the books. This is the Dark Eye 5th edition released in 2016.

I would be interested on being a player. Bought the game but haven't done anything with it.

I downloaded the quick start. It looks interesting. The skill system is unusual and neat. Might be slow in pbp though. But I'll give it an honest try if the game goes ahead.

I don't have the book but there seems to have alot of the material on the wiki, so I'd like to try it out.
