Feedbacks on the system

One of the objectives of that game is to test that system i'm trying.

Given the fight in the first RP topic, i already saw some flaws of that system, in the LP track, so i'll have to think over to find a fix. if you have any suggestions, share and we'll talk about it.

And that topic is made for that: suggestions and ideas about the system, to fix and improve.

The main thing I think is that it would be beneficial to have a system of stages of success. Like for the fight, especially in PBP really, it would be easier to know how we did in the fight. Like one level of success every 10 points after the difficulty level or every multiple of the difficulty level and that gives you the number of guys you've managed to kill. It could also be beneficial in other settings I think.

I know we already talked about that. I agree it would be more accurate.

We can try to find something that we all agree on before the next fight.

I don't know if every 10 points is fair or if it is not a bit too much though

I don't know about the specifics, I'm really not qualified to go that far, but also consider what does a fail in your roll entail? A draw? You lose and get hurt? Does the bare minimum roll get you a draw in the fight and a degree of success mean an actual hit on the opponent? Do you want your npc to make a roll to hurt us? That would entail a to hit score for us and maybe hit points. Does a single hit by us mean auto death for opponents? All questions I think you have to consider in order to clarify the fight rules.

Oh, I also realized, did you homebrewed the Jade Magistrates as existing now or was it a mistake and you meant to say Emerald Magistrate instead?

Maybe Emerald magistrate, i'll check.

Yeah ... Maybe Emerald ... I'll correct right away.

So ... With those first feedbacks, i updated the Core Book.

Basically, we're going for 2 gauges of Stress Boxes, one Physical and one Mental. (Pages 42 and 43)
(Earth + Water) / 2 - rounded up = Physical Stress Boxes
(Air + Fire) / 2 - rounded up = Mental Stress Boxes
(For those of you who use the Google Sheet version, I will make the alteration of your CS, if not, you'll have to do it on the GP character sheet).

I also added a more qualified action scale, to help us to get a better idea of how the situation evolves (Page 40).
We can test that on the next scenes and see how it goes.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Given those new rules about Stress Boxes, if you want to think anew about the values of your Rings, you can of course do it, no problem.
