nice one. well it's friday night i might fire up a solo CoC adventure - i've got Alone Against the Wendigo and Alone Against the Dark to go through too
I've picked up Alone Against the Flames...I'm gonna give it a try this weekend, if the little one will let me.
how old is the wee one? old enough to help you roll the dice? i get my two (4 + 6) to help me roll when i'm playing things like Elder Signs. They love it. 'Look Daddy! we got two "Terrors"'....hmmm maybe i should rethink that strategy...
My oldest (13) wants to learn to RP...he enjoys watching the games, and we got him the starter kit. Planning on taking him to the local game store one day this summer and running a game for him.
My 7yo and I do a YouTube show playing a star wars rpg. We tried Fate Accelerated and he hated the dice, so we're back to Saga edition. I started him out with Werewolf the Apocalypse years ago and I'll never forget his face when we started to role play. He turned to his mom and said, "You can talk in this game!"
I got 'Hero Kids' off DriveThroughRPG - it's made for kids with some easy combat mechanics and have done some adventures with my 6 and 4 years old. They love it and i get to tell stories with giant rats etc. win win.
