Gameplay 1e - The Maiden's Kiss

It would be madness to take on four armed and armored guards with just our fists and a single dagger. "What are you going to do with us if we surrender? And will we get to see The Devil's Mistress, here and now?"

"We'll take you to the dungeon. Don't worry, you'll meet the Devil's Mistress soon enough." They edge closer ready to cut you down if you resist.

Looking at her companions, "Lads, I think it best if we surrender and go willingly with the guards."

Yes, it's not like we have much choice in the matter, to put it bluntly.

"Attan and Gavrel, if you agree, let's get going.". Glaring at the guards, "I've been hankering for a good dungeon escape." and spits at their feet.

"Fine... well see what happens here on..." Ataan states.

They march you through the castle to stairs going down.

The rough-hewn stairs lead down to a large dungeon, whose cold, dank walls seem to leech the warmth from body and soul. The central chamber contains all the usual trappings of these foul places, but unusually it has two iron maidens, one of which is closed, the other open. In front of the closed maiden is a metal bowl, which is slowly fi lling with blood trickling through a narrow opening in the device’s base.

Standing before the closed iron maiden, stroking it as if caressing a lover, is a stunningly beautiful woman, her black clothes in striking contrast to her porcelain skin.

Two sides of the dungeon are lined with cells, in which huddle a dozen half naked young girls, wild-eyed with fear.

The guards inform the Baroness that they have caught trespassers. The evil Baroness studies the prisoners closely and singles out Ataan.

"A man will make a nice change to my master’s usual diet," she purrs. "Let him taste the maiden’s kiss," she says as she gestures to the open iron maiden. "Execute the others."

"I'm actually the type to only be romantic in private you have plenty of unintelligent men with more blood for an erotic show... you're really trying to take the Wife's title aren't you? Not even trying to hide it from her..." Ataan states shaking his head. He moves to grab a torture device to prod the closest guard.

"Bichura. Leg." he commands after swinging what's handy.

Ataan grabs a chunk of metal and cracks a guard with it. Roll damage. Str + d4

The guard is Shaken by the unexpected attack.

Seeing Ataan attack the guard brings joy to her heart. She looks around the table and grabs something that looks like a pitchfork, with four long claws attached at the end (The Spanish Tickler). She lashes out at the same guard Attan just struck.

The guards try and spread out, shocked by the fierce resistance.

The Ataan brained is still woozy but could recover. Gerald takes a shot but it does him no harm.

Emma (redo your attack, those stats are give) then Gerald are up.

The woman backs away frowning, but confident you're all about to be skewered.

Emma strikes again

Take a raise on rolling the damage, and are you hitting the Shaken guard or another one?

The guard does not find the French Tickler particularly funny, as his head is stoved in.

Gavrel pulls a blade as stabs at a guard.

Gerald is up. Remember to take +1 gang up bonus if you attack the same one as Gavrel.

Gerald shoves the guard nearest the iron maiden into it hoping to impale him on a spike or two.

Opposed roll.

The guard stumbles and falls into the Iron maiden. The door slams shut, and you hear a crunching noise.
