Sorry, I'm active and been checking every day, didn't realise you were waiting on me to post!

I generally give everyone a chance to respond at stages as in almost every exchange one's character has something to interject be it dialogue or thoughts or actions. Keep in mind this is PbP to bring your character to life you have to post to create that life for others to notice it and perhaps react to it. Its shared storytelling you are telling the story of your character and that gets combined with everyone else's into the full story.

Thanks for the advice! This is only the 2nd PbP game I've played but I'll try to keep up and help make it fun/interesting for everyone :)

Also, since we took an overnight sleep, that only counts as a short rest right? Cuz short rests are 4 hours and a long rest is a full day in this game?

That is correct sort-of -- yes 4 hours is a Short Rest and overnight (or 8 Hours) is thus 2 Short Rests and yes the Long Rest is a full 24 hours long or 6 contiguous Short Rests

Right did I address the Ki Points or did I not have to? Do you get those back after a Short Rest?

Yeah, RAW you get Ki back on a short or long rest

I think we're all ready to go so if DeJoker wanted to move it forward to the point where the party are heading south east to the first of the 18 farms Hath spoke of that would seem OK with me.

Okay let us be clear on geography -- the plateau is south of the village because the village is on its northern most point thus everything on the plateau is south of the village. That being said.

The 18 farms extend both to the east (9 farms) and to the west (9 farms) of the village but are very close to its northern edge. The southern forest is a days ride to the south-by-southeast and the western forest is along the northern edge a little less than a days ride to the west. The great cleave that leads up out of the valley is about a days ride to the south-by-southwest via a packed path.

A days ride is about equivalent to 2 days walk (or by caravan)
