Eltrezar looks to his companion of smaller stature and grimaces. Brave as she is, a bolt to the chest will take anyone out of the picture. 'Yondalla must be watching out for her today. After all, there's no way the bolt could have missed her giant heart.' Looking forward once more, he rides along with Elmo.

Aldrusian with the save! That's my guy right there! Man that was a nail biter!DM: Are those two icons along the castle wall both of our horses? If so, I'm sure Coulson and I will ride up to the hole and dismount on either side of the breach so as not to be standing directly in arrow alley.

As Coulson and Alice ride up to the break in the wall, Alice shouts
"You men in there, throw down your arms and you can flee with your lives! Resist and you die here and now!"

Hearing that there are more bandits to deal with in the vicinity, Eltrezar draws a dagger and prepares to unleash it into an unsuspecting neck. Out of superstition- after all, what are magickers if not superstitious- he draws the same one from before, not yet honed from whatever bones it may have dulled against.

Yes, Coulson's and Alice's tokens are overlapping, as are Eltrezar's and Elmo's.Round 1 ends; Round 2 begins! Turn order is as follows:
-->1. Gilly, Brigand Group (6)
2. Eltrezar, Elmo (5)
3. Angel, Coulson, Kelric
4. Alice

OOC:
Brigand Target Selection for this round is as follows:1-Gilly, 2-Angel, 3-Kelric, 4-Coulson.
Taking a shot at Alice, directly behind Coulson would be foolish. As is firing at Elmo or Eltrezar right now, as their horse is behind Coulson's. I think common sense would dictate that the Brigand would never try and hit one of those targets when others are more readily available.
OOC:

Gilly looses her arrow, and it clacks against the stone. She sees the guard peering down the sights at her. Wincing, she awaits the impact that never comes. She lets out the breath she had been holding. Phew! She immediately nocks another arrow and bursts up out of the brush to take her shot at the new face in the hole!
Phew. That was close. This is scary!

So I take it they are not taking my offer of surrender?OOC:
I won't reveal the Morale roll I made after the first brigand was taken out by Kelric, but they do not seem interested in a surrender.In reply, the same harsh voice you heard before shouts, "Don't worry about the damn hole, help be with this brace and let's go!"
The hole on the Moathouse wall is currently unoccupied, and Elmo spurs his horse on, passing to the left of Coulson's horse, and charging through the moat's water.
OOC:
Because Elmo ran through the moat, his horse's double move was cut by half and he only went 40'.
Turn order is as follows:
1. Gilly, Brigand Group (6)
-->2. Eltrezar, Elmo (5)
3. Angel, Coulson, Kelric
4. Alice

Coulson spurs the horse onwards, towards the wall in a straight line (EE12)
"Sister" He calls over his shoulder as they ride "I can fit through that hole and plug that gap, if you want to take the ‘orse back around to the main gate, or to one o’ them piles o rubble, an’ we can try outflank them"

"Your plan is good, but I would not divide our forces so much when the enemy's number is not known. We four can ride to the gate together while the archers hold the hole."

"Elmo, Eltrezar, with us" Alice says not too loudly to the pair as Coulson wheels the horse around.
Alice flashes a look to Gilly, Angel and Kelric and makes a hand motion that reads: hold your ground, we will cut them off.

OOC:
Am I correct to assume that you're running the warhorses to main gate double-time? And just so I'm prepared, are you racing your horses over the old drawbridge and right through the front doors to face anything you might find mounted, or are you are you dismounting at some point and approaching on foot?Dec 18, 2020 7:11 pm

Eltrezar is going to let Elmo direct the horse, and they're both following Alice's lead.Dec 18, 2020 7:29 pm

Angel carefully approaches the hole with an arrow knocked. He will not enter the hole and will seek as much cover as possible at its edge. When Kelric approaches he says to him, "I'm not so good at fighting up close. I imagine you're better at that. Sneaking in now probably would not work."
