OOC:
Alright, I moved Angel 40' closer to the hole. Unless you want to swim in chest deep or higher water there's some stones that can be hopped across at KK13. If you wanted to make a double-time run to get all the way to the wall on this turn let me know and I'll move him closer.

In the meantime, if Shadowace doesn't post for Kelric today, I'll move him tomorrow to be near Angel somewhere.

Turn order is:
1. Gilly, Brigand Group (6)
2. Eltrezar, Elmo (5)
-->3. Angel, Coulson, Kelric
4. Alice

Kelric with an arrow raised and ready to fire at anything that comes out the hole, walks towards Angel. Aye, I'm ok at close combat, let's wait a moment and see if that warhorse flushes any of them out.

OOC:
as Dom said, he read my intention correctly. Coulson will have his lance couched at the ready (I think that’s the term). While our archers are harrying them at the hole, we storm in at the side/rear to take the fight to them

Kelric keeps his bow trained on the hole, but his heavy armor makes him quite a bit slower than Angel. Still he advances as close as he can ready for any rats to get flushed out.

Alice holds tight to Coulson's mount, ready to race over the drawbridge and through the gates.
OOC:
Round 2 ends. Round three begins with the "sniper group watching the hole for any more activity. Elmo is fixing to wheel his warhorse around and follow Coulson and alice, who have raced full speed around the corner and out of sight of the rest of the party.

Angel is just fine where he is.

I assume this was in my last post, during Round 2, about moving him forward if he wanted to run. That said, After Kelric and Gilly, he can move and act as you see fit for this round.

Seeing as how others have the hole covered, should something jump out, Gilly is going to use all of her movement to run this turn.
OOC:
I imagine LL15, KK15, JJ14 to cross the water, and the rest of my move should be enough to get up beside the hole. I’m tying to sneak up there to see if I can see or hear anything.,

Gilly crosses the mote via the stepping stones and runs up to the hole.

OOC:
Gilly has only used her turn to Move 35' so far. She is at the hole peering inside. If she would like to move an additional 5', or use her action to move up to 45' more, or use her action for something else she can before we move on this round.

I will move back down 5’ so as to give someone else space.
Gilly creeps away from the hole. She motions to her companions in hiding.

Finger to lips - shhhh
Five fingers up
Pointing inside the hole
OOC:
And I’ll finish my turn there and wait for backup

I'll move your Gilly south 1 square.
Turn order is as follows:
1. Gilly (7)
-->2. Kelric (6)
3. Angel, Elmo, Brigands (5)
4. Coulson, Eltrezar (4)
5. Alice (2)

I'll play Kelric as an NPC to keep the game chugging along. All I did was have him make a full running move to approach the hole. He's not blocking the hole if another PC wants to approach or enter. I also am going to post what technically only Gilly saw, but since she's given the party a heads up as to what's inside, I'm fine with you seeing the layout.

Feel free to shoot them through the hole y'all...
Dec 21, 2020 6:42 pm
OOC:
The only reason I didn't have Kelric do that is because he had to use his full run to get up there, and wouldn't have been able to shoot this round. Furthermore he'd have been blocking the hole, preventing anyone else to attack, so I opted to move him to just off to the side in case someone else wishes to try this on their turn.

I am assuming that the interior is too dark for Angel to make out any details like individual brigands.
He will approach the opening slowly but will be prepared to fire.
Dec 21, 2020 9:46 pm
Angel walks up to the hole in the wall and cautiously peers inside. A couple of torches set in wall sconces are lit and Angel sees five brigands have pulled a wooden brace away from the door they had used to barricade the room from the inside. There's a number of bedrolls and gear strewn around that would indicate they had been using this room as their hideout fir a while. None of the men notice Angel yet, so intent are they on splitting out through the door.
OOC:
Angel is on GG11 at the hole in the wall. He has moved 15' so far and has an Action still if he would like to take it.

OOC:
That sounds like what Kelric would do :). Weekend are tough, thanks for moving it along.

OOC:
Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good Christmas or any other holidays you celebrate! Speed bump is over, and I gave it some time to see if Angel wanted to take an Action or use any of the rest of his move, but since we haven't heard back, we'll pick it back up with Angel standing in the doorway having observed the brigands, and now the brigands make their turn.
As Angel looks inside the room he sees the brigands throw the room's barricade to the side and exit out the door. The first man at the door begins rushing out the room as another man standing right next to him looks over makes to raise a crossbow at Angel. But before he can squeeze the trigger the man who fled the room first reaches back, grabs the crossbowman by the collar of his leather armor, and pulls him out with him. Every other brigand follows suit of the first man and rushes out the door, and now the room is vacant.
OOC:
Round 3 continues with turn order is as follows:
1. Gilly (7)
2. Kelric (6)
3. Angel, Elmo, Brigands (5)
-->4. Coulson, Eltrezar (4)
5. Alice (2)
Coulson is currently at Y35. He's riding a warhorse, so sit has 40' movement (80' if he runs).

Is Elmo and Eltrezar not right behind us?
Dec 26, 2020 10:43 pm
OOC:
No. In round 2 Elmo and Eltrezar had their turn first and used his turn it to run his horse up towards the hole. Afterward Coulson and Alice decided that they wanted to wheel their horse around and head for the drawbridge, which they used to double-time back the direction they came.

Elmo and Eltrezar have since turned around, and followed after, but they're considerably further behind because of the head start Coulson and Alice had on them.
