Any house rules, variants, or formatting changes will go here. If you have any questions or think we should change anything, just let me know.
When posting in the game thread:
So it's easier for everyone to read, try to post in third-person past-tense in the game thread.
"Spoken dialogue in bold and with quotation marks."
In character thoughts in italics. When posting in game, try not to describe any other character's actions. Also, try not to describe the results of your actions, since you never know if your roll failed or succeeded.
If you think a certain roll is appropriate (a skill check or attack roll, for example), feel free to go ahead and add it when you post. You don't have to wait until I ask you for a roll.
Absences:
Just give us a heads up (by posting here or in the gamersplane absences thread) if you're going to be away for a while.
Have fun!
If you're not having fun, just let me know, and I'll try to fix it. If you have any suggestions for other rules/formatting/posting conventions, feel free to bring it up! I'm a new DM and new to play-by-post, so I welcome any feedback.

OOC:
Out of character questions and comments in the OOC format. Feel free to clarify any game mechanics here too, like if you want to clarify what action you're taking or what spell you're casting. If you think a certain roll is appropriate (a skill check or attack roll, for example), feel free to go ahead and add it when you post.
