Torston Stands in the court gathering with two bowls in front of him. He awaits and stands still as each member of the city comes forward one by one to cast their vote for the new leader of Harpies.
The Candidates are Henry of Clan Malkavian and Duccio of Clan Lasombra.
Duccio smiles and gets up to head towards the voting bowls, "Although it should go without question whom I am voting for, it is not without deep consideration. As much of an upstanding member Henry is of this court I feel the risks involved with the Malkavian blood and this kind of position far outweigh his upstanding nature, and sadly it is of no fault of his."
"While I can understand where you are speaking from Duccio, basing an opinion on blood alone is not my way of thinking. I wish you the best of luck in this vote and the future."
Duccio gives a slight bow to Henry, "And I wish you luck in this endeavor as well, I do not wish to have the decision based singularly upon blood alone merely a reminder to those that there are things about ones self that cannot be changed. You have done well in contributing to this city from the small things I have heard and as champion I thank you for your assistance. Even though the other of your blood within this city have not been having that great of a time recently and often find themselves at the center of a lot of the public troubles."
Isaac looks troubled as he steps up to vote.
"This is a difficult decision for me especially since noone has really explained to me what a Harpy is. Duccio and Henry both have been good friends to me and I think they would both be great at whatever a harpy does. I fully support any of you in your choice to vote for either of these talented cainites. Henry had already asked me to vote for him so I will keep my promise and do so.
Kristophe steps up to vote. "Truely I believe That Ser Henry is the best suited to take up this position. He has shown much care and respect for other members of this court and their wellbeing."
Pausing only briefly at the door to take in these new surroundings, Gwynne strides up to the voting table with an air of purposefulness that seems quite out of character for her. She looks briefly at the bowls and the candidates before tossing her vote into Henry's bowl. Wordlessly, she turns and strides back out of the building, a burning determination in her eyes as, social obligations complete, she is now free to pursue her quarry single-mindedly.
Karim slinks into the room, not acknowledging anyone else as he strides towards the bowl. He silently drops a token into Henry's bowl before swiftly moving out of plain sight.
Enki enters into the room accompanied by one of his ghouls. Enki approach's and Keeper and gives a respectful nod to Torston. He holds his had above the bowl.
"I Enki Koldun and Primogen of Clan Tzimiscie Vote for Henry of Clan Malkavian for the position of Master of Harpies."
Enki drops his tokens in the bowl and then leaves.
Abdul enters not long after Enki leaves, giving the Keeper a shallow bow.
"I cast my vote for Henry of Clan Malkavian." He drops his tokens into the bowl before turning to leave.
Aserymus watches the proceedings as the others move to cast their votes one after another. As a quiet moment lingers after the last, he looks over the gathered members of the court before speaking.
"I know little enough about the character of both parties, and thus cannot vote in good faith for one or another. I abstain. Do as you will."
With that he turns to leave the politics behind him and exits the hall.
The Prince collects her tokens and walks purposefully over to the bowls. She looks at them then turns to face those present, "As no one saw it beneficial for their campaign to ask for my support, I shall abstain. This slight shall be remembered."
She takes her tokens and gives them back to Torston as she exists the room.
Gregor enters with his status in tow he stops in front of the Keeper "While I believe in one candidate more then the other, I have received no compelling argument to vote one way or the other. Therefore I along with clan Nosferatu Abstain."
