Starting up a D&D 5E game.

Its called The Quest for questing sake. This is gonna be dungeon crawling. Looking for 5 guys willing to play characters they are pretty familiar with. I have run other games but never 5E, and want to learn and contribute to the site. Figured the best way to do both is to start a game and run it. So i am setting up a game for people who like to dungeon crawl. There will be traps, there will be wild life, and there will be crazy bad guys. What there won't be is some huge plot to destroy the world or and evil master mind behind it all.

If your interested post on here what your character type will be.

I'm interested in running a tiefling sorcerer. Never really did a dungeon crawl before; well, where the crawl was the main focus.

That sounds perfect, since I have a hard time remembering plot. But I will wait to see if any new peeps want to join up first.

And what's this only recruiting 'guys'? Geeeez. :-p

This sounds like fun! I'd love to join but am in so many games already (and yet I sit here and none of my 2 dozen games have updates). I'd rather give others a chance to play but if you don't have your roster full yet a couple of days from now then I'll apply. :-)

Considering that every time i put together a game group IRL is fricking grenades itself, this is really the only place i have to game.

The good news is that things can grenade themselves here -- and well, you can either rotate in new players or start a new game easily.

Still looking for players? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm getting a sense that this game is meant not to take itself too seriously? I love the opportunity to play ridiculous character concepts :) I'm thinking of a delusional, megalomaniacal wizard who considers themselves the master of reality and seeks to usurp the gods themselves. This would lead to a lot of rationalization over the inevitable foibles of a level 1 character, hehe.

I am game for any character as long as it works with the group.

Of course. If anything this guy will be desperate to prove his phenomenal cosmic power to the group by being super useful :)
